| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife Other than her hating on Brooke, has her edit really been all that bad? Certainly not in Ashley territory. Edit brought Brooke back from appearing a hypocrite to her faith after Lisa left and let her reveal her tattoo, so nothing is impossible. After the initial greeting with her friend from NY, I was surprised the friend softened in her outlook - that was my biggest, huh? Christa's flaw is that she can't let go of not getting walked to the door with the violins still playing...Lisa, Brooke and Amanda ruined her "perfect" date in the backyard swing by pulling a high school prank to get Matt's attention. It wasn't done to diss Christa, but to be silly stupid with Matt. But, Christa took it personally, way too personally, then felt neither Lisa nor Brooke apologized. THAT has been sticking in her craw and has grown way out of proportion to the incident. They have shown her being flirty with Matt, but we've been shown that he likes it. He let Kanisha go because flirtatiousness wasn't enough. He let Amanda go because he felt more deeply (that's the question, though, does he really?) connected with Christa and Brooke. The real question, of course, is who will pass the unannounced and unacknowledged tests this next week. I think he should look for the one who takes on the egg gathering and meal cooking as well as any visits with the neighbors he may have planned. Yes, the plane banner flying over the whole town with the "winner's" name is over the top, but so was Lisa's name in lights at the fair. But - why do you think they held this show back for a summer run rather than last fall closer to when it was filmed? Uh...candy cotton, flavored ices and caramel corn - all sweet temptations just right for summer. P.S. Did you notice that one of the reasons they had the double elimination was Matt stating that "He" only had one more week available for filming? I wonder why? Too close to harvest of whatever row crops he grows? ![]()

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife Totally shocked with the 2 person elimination. I think Christa's has had a bad edit since the beginning (well I don't really remember the first show so maybe not then). To me its the EXTENT to which she is being snarky about Brooke. We all have our snarky moments, but she can't do a PI without saying something negative about Brooke. I believe Brooke did try to apologize when they were on the swing (they did show a little of that last night) and Christa didn't accept it. When her friend showed up didn't she say something like "We don't like her" or something like that. Reminders of junior high but yet she calls Brooke immature. I don't think Brooke has a problem being affectionate with Matt she just doesn't like to be that way when another girl is right there (like the hot tub). Seriously, what was up with the cheesy music, first when Matt took off his shirt in the lake and then later at the hot tub. ![]() |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I too was surprised at the double elimiation and of Amanda being one of the girls to go. Brooke vs Christa is an interesting choice. Agewise Christa is closer, but It hink Brooke shares more of his interests, hobbies. Hmmmm I thoroughly enjoyed KJ's friend - wasn't she a hoot during the family dinner? ![]() Christa's lip piercing bugs the crap out of my hubby! That has got to be one weird feeling when kissing! I noticed Brooke's tatoo for the first time last night. I couldn't make out what it was at first, but now that you mention it - I do think it resembles more the Omega than the Alpha sign. I think the public eliminations have all been a bit humiliating!! And next week's even more so!! Remember the title is Farmer WANTS a Wife - doesn't mean he gets one! ![]() |

KJ's friend was great. She went from "you've lost your mind" to really seeming like she was enjoying her time there. The eliminations are awful. Obviously, the cow was the worst, but then some of the others have been just downright humiliating.

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I wonder if his mom really saw a farmer's wife - or if she was giong by script!! I couldn't believe Amanda didn't know what he farmed! That was ridiculous! ![]() KJ's attitude when she was leaving was a bit much IMO. |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I totally agree but I think it will be her. Just because she is always kissing him and he seems to really enjoy it. He didn't kiss Brooke on last nights episode at all and it seems from the clips that they get into a bit of an arguement next week. I can't stand Christa. She always talks about how immature Brooke is yet I think she acts like a child. I mean she is so jealous of Brooke it's actually pathetic. On the other hand Matt has no idea until he watched the show how she was seriously acting when he wasn't around. To throw Brooke's flip flop in the lake ...what are we in 7th grade??? |

You know... I checked out his friend Ben's myspace page two days ago and Brooke said she missed Missouri. So I don't know if he picks her or if she's away or what! But if he picks Christa I think I'll kick the TV.

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife my last and final comment for this weeks epidose is that my husband was saying WOW that girl looks like an ugly Jodie Foster mannish looking and so trashy (CHRISTA). I started cracking up. He was so right on. She is disgusting from her look to her attitude. Sorry can you tell I don't care to much for her. |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I thought that was mean when Christa tossed Brooke's flip flop into the water. That was uncalled for and...immature! Didn't Matt look uncomfortable in the hot tub when the girls were rehashing the incident after Christa's date? How many times does Brooke have to apologize? Lord help Matt if he ever crosses Christa the wrong way!! ![]() |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I thought it was very dumb of them to argue in front of Matt. Men hate arguments and this was so petty of both of them. I understand their feeling but it made them both look so bad. I feel he will choose Brooke because she seems easier to mold into his lifestyle.
