| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I just have a few words: NOT CHRISTA!!! Seriously, would they give the "winner" such a negative edit? I hope not, but I wouldn't put anything past them. I don't think he's ready to marry anybody, unless there is a lot we haven't seen - which I'm sure there is. But if it's not Brooke, I'll think it was all a big waste of my time! Wish we'd spent more time at the family dinner! |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I'm not so sure I like the ending of tonight's episode. And I know for certain I do not like the good edit they are giving Christa. To think that she was the one that I thought would be the first to go. Brooke has been my favorite all along. It would be cool if this show did not follow The Bachelor's precedent, but have the couple at the end have an actual relationship....just as long as it isn't Christa. ![]() |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife WOWZA! WOWZA! What a semi twist at the end. I really thought Amanda would stay, but when she didn't even know what crops he farmed, I just shook my head. A double! ![]() I have to say, though, that Christa is not an absolute surprise. Remember the barn dance when she was the first to claim him; and the talk with her friend tonight where the friend was not surprised that Christa was happy there. The snarky city friend even gave Christa a glowing review for the family. Did anyone notice that Brooke has taken the "hiding it" bandage off of her tattoo? I can't remember, is that the alpha or the omega symbol? (At one point I thought she was wearing a nicotine patch, but it looked too big.) Country Hot Tub! I'm cracking up! And a cow walked by....producer prodded or not, that was hysterical. ![]() So it will be between the seemingly more sexually open girl vs. the virgin. Although, when Christa told her friend that Brooke was a virgin, her friend said something like, "you should talk." This will be very interesting. I'm actually pulling for Christa - if only she would take out the piercings.P.S. One thing going in Christa's favor is that she isn't afraid to show intimacy with Matt, where Brooke still stands back. How this will play out in the end will depend on his romantic comfort level. P.P.S. I really don't see a wedding or even an engagement in anyone's near future, but this has been a kick to watch - even with the gross-out moments. ![]()

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I was checking out Brooke's myspace and I saw she has a picture of herself taken with some people. I wonder who they are. They seem to be Matt's relatives, or maybe hers. |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife Double whammy last night. I did not expect a double dismissal ala Robert & Fred of The Bachelorette. But I agree with Ariel Amanda shot herself in the foot when she could not tell the family what Matt farms. And I knew last week when KJ was snacking on pigs' ears, she was speeding up her return to city. I should have guessed that it would be a Rumble in the Jungle between Christa and Brooke. And if Matt wasn't clued in before that there is no love lost between these 2, he definitely heard Christa give her side of the story in the hot tub. ![]() I'm still thinking that if Matt picks someone, it will be Brooke. Mainly because Christa has gotten a crappy edit and appeared in the clips next week to ooze confidence that she was the one. Meanwhile, Brooke appeared to be unsure about her chances. I'm probably wrong, but I definitely don't think they are still "together". ![]() Except for the title of the show that demands a proposal, I think that the ole Outback Jack ending is sufficient in most cases for these dating shows.

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife Arielflies - do you think TPTB would give Christa such a negative edit all season if she were the one he chose? I don't know. I hope not, but anything's possible. If he did chose Christa, I hope TPTB would have "softened" her edit - especially her conflict from the get go with Brooke - a little. I wonder what these two really think about each other - without the producer-inspired drama! I still say with her edit, a lot of people will be upset if she is the "winner." |
