I keep catching the last five minutes of the show. Does anyone know when it will reapeat again?? I will admit I am behind the times and don't have TIVO.
I was not suprised when he chose Jes. I think Heather would have been better for him. Jes did not look excited to be chosen though. Their kissing at the end made me shudder. I had to turn away. I need the eye bleach.
I think the reunion show will be very interesting to watch and I can't wait to see what develops. Lacey should bring alot of drama to the show. That girl was Crazy!

I am not at all surprised that Bret picked Jess. For starters she looks much younger and less "weathered," than Heather, but beyond that, two things cinched the deal for Jess. One, Bret has ZERO intention of settling down, he does not want a woman who is 31 and probably at the age where she wants marriage and children. He would rather go with the girl who is not ready for marriage and kids, hence Jess's age not bothering him. As for the double girlfriend deal, I suspect he really meant it, and when Jess said no he knew the only way he could continue to see her was if he chose her, so he decided to say he was testing them. I am sure this wont last, and we will see a Rock of Love 2, where they bring Heather back at the end, a la Flav & New York. I think the reunion show will be better than the finale.

If that happened, I'd expect to see Lacy come back--Heather just isn't entertaining enough to be te focus of more episodes.

Interesting show, the outcome was what I suspected and hoped it would be. I don't think Brett is an idiot. I'm actually more impressed with him than I thought I would be. Jess is a nice girl and I hope she does well.

I can't stand Heather, but if I was dumped after getting a man's name tattooed on my neck (Let this be a warning to you, girls), I would act like a raving loon for a while, too. I might say I hated him, in the heat of the moment and accuse him of all sorts of crap. So, in that respect, I'm not holding it against Heather.

What I do hold agaisnt Heather, WAKE UP WOMAN! You're pretty, smart, a little raw, but so are a lot of women. Get some freaking self esteem. You come off as insecure. You didn't want to share Brett, so why the HECK did you say it? Cause you were afraid of being alone? You don't want a man who does not want you. If it's share, or go it alone, after all that, then get a grip.

Nuff said.

Here's my theory, Bret had no intention of ever having a real relationship in the end, it was all for the $$$ and publicity. Heather told him she loved him and she was a definite no for him because he didn't want a commitment (he got scared with the tatoo and tried to talk her out of it). Jes had a relationship and he knew this. She never portrayed wanting a long term commitment so she's safe. She's cute, young, and would be a fan favorite especially with the editing, so she's the winner because no strings would be attached and he could go back to his real life as he sees it. I believe Heather's version of the editing, and I think Jes was in it for the money and publicity. I did fall for the Jes love. Bret knew what he was going to do all along. There is absolutely nothing real about these shows other than just entertainment and fantasy for us. And I love it though I hate to admit this.

I do NOT buy the whole diabetes staged peformances. He is messed up TWO DAYS IN A ROW? If he really experienced that, then he did it to his body ON PURPOSE to see how each girl would react to it. What a dumb oaf.

Of course I know these shows are staged, scripted, etc., but I like to pretend it's real, anyway. But the ensuing drama related to diabetes--TWO DAYS IN A ROW--was just fraudulent.

Regarding Heather and her tatoo: easily removed.

Regarding the Jes & Brett duo: mis-matched, not built on a solid foundation, just a shallow attraction from both sides.

Regarding Heather and her post-show rage: understandable. Maybe she hates him, maybe she doesn't. But he WAS pretty cheap to her.

Regarding the Solomon test Brett did at the end: Puhleeze, Brett, spare us the drama and just say something solid. If you can't make a decision without giving the girls a last-minute test, then you probably don't like either one enough to form a lasting relationship.

Regarding Brett's headbands: Take them off!

Regarding Brett's age: Hey, I think he still looks hotttt.

Regarding who is the bigger player, Jes or Heather: Jes. Heather doesn't front, she is what she is. Jes, unfortunately, still has her hidden agenda. We just don't know what it is yet. A young-20's girl "falling" for a balding mid-40's guy who happens to have a lot of cash flow from old rock albums...
