I think Bret realizes that he's only getting older, that party all the time lifestyle wont yield him much of anything of value. But, i don't think these shows will get him anything either. Also, i think the ladies have gotta get over their ire for taya. Geez!

There's a lot of jealousy. Women arwe just nasty when it comes to judging other women. It's like they think she's fake because she doesn't behave the way they do. Yes, she's a centerfold, yes she's a dancer of some sort- but she doesn't feel the need to act like the cliche-the way Ashely and the rest of them do. Beverly is just a miserable drunk and Mindy, well, she is so desperate she had a one night stand with him in order to try to move herself up in the rankings. The women accussing Taya of the worst behavior are guilty of it themselves. I just don't see the sleazy side in Taya coming out the way it did in the women who are so jealous of her.

Out of curiousity, when the host asked if there was anyone who'd gotten married and pregnant after the show ended, one girl raised her hand. I could not tell who it was for the life of me. Can anyone identify random blonde #12?

forget what Taya, Mindy and all the other girls said, the most telling things said and done tonight were done by Bret himself. He spoke volumes about the depth of his feelings for Taya when said his decision could have been effected by Mindy telling him that she loved him. That, combined with the way he looked at Mindy, the way he kissed Mindy, and the way he equivocated his feelings for Taya, should leave Taya feeling very uneasy - especially considering his past. He made it very clear that Mindy was the one he truly wanted but he settled for Taya.

I can't remember either, it was definitely one of the girls who was eliminated early. That's insane though-already married and pregnant.

I definitely watched it and you could tell that Mindy is one of the most genuine people that has been on the show, and when Bret saw her, that said it all. Not to mention he was very distant from Taya, or so I thought.

Bret's a 44(ish)-year-old bachelor. I don't think he's looking for a lovely young bride. Or even a nasty, gnarly drunken wife. He's got 2 gorgeous kids - and his girlfriend is absolutely gorgeous. If these girls who sign up to be on the show haven't figured that out by now - then no wonder they are so "devastated" when they are sent a-packin'. The guy's getting paid a lot of cash to go on tv every week, have sex with whomever he chooses - and uses all of that to sell albums. I think it's pretty obvious he loves his job.
