I just watched the early showing of the reunion and I am going to try to figure out for the first time how to use spoiler tags so I can post my thoughts but not spoil it for anyone, hope it works!
[[First of all it was a great reunion I thought. Farrah and Ashley were as vile and hateful as ever, in other words they were great!!! i was sad that the 2nd and 3rd runners up Jamie and Beverly got no airtime whatsoever that was a bummer.
I absolutely loved it when host Rickie Rachman reiterated my own feelings to Bret that he made the wrong choice. Mindy was in love with him (as Heather was) and he didn't pick her, he opted for the shallow choice with whom he showed no connection with. As Mindy showed clearly when she took the stage, she was truly in love with him and still is- it was quite touching actually (yikes can't believe I said that). She was a real person with strengths and flaws who loves him- he is a complete fool to let her go. Taya is a fake person who is just not likeable to me at all, and she is not in love with him and that was painfully obvious at the reunion- and he does not love her either. It was so hard to see the pain on Mindy's face that is still there. If he really wanted love, he should have picked her. But as he proved in season 1 when he turned away heather who also loved him, he must not really want love. Its sad!

I have no doubt that if Taya watches/ed Mindy's segment, she would have some serious doubts about Bret. I'm really happy that Rikki said that Bret made the wrong choice.]]

I am WAY too invested in this show.

a person who was at the taping posted this list on a couple of other sites of things that WERE NOT SEEN from the reunion special

[[They completely didn't show Brittanya's interview. A shame. She was gorgeous.

They cut Brittaney's bit too.

They cut Jaime's which is fine since she was boring.

They cut Beverly's bit and I am glad. I really could not stand her and she was "lame' and boring. They even brought out her husband and nobody liked him. He wore a brown suit and looked like her dad and was sooooooooo boring.

They taped most of the audience reactions BEFORE the show began so what they showed was not really in response to what was going on. Example: the audience reaction to the fight between Natasha and Kelsey was taped before the fight even began.

They did not show how cruel and childish Farrah and Ashley were throughout the entire show. They heckled Mindy and Taya througout the entire interviews. They would interrupt taping and conversations so they could be the center of attention. They were really obnoxious and were egged on by three gay groupies in the audience. Ashley offered a guy a lap dance for less than $20. And told another she would F him after the show.

They cut Ashley's alone segment entirely. Where she talked about James.

They cut quite a bit of the fight and Big John chastising the rest of the girls afterwards.

They cut the part where Brittany yelled "where's your kid" when Ashley and Farrah were being interviewed.

They cut out where Maria was crying at the end about Bret.

YOu didn't see that Bret was a bit loaded after the show. He kept asking Jacob for his bottle of Vodka throughout the entire taping and even had Beverly swig from it. She drank it nearly all in one gulp. When I was talking to Bret his face was literally two inches away from mine and all I could smell was booze. ha ha]]

I'm going to give the spoiler deal a try too....

[[ I thought Brett looked a little on the intoxicated or high side during the show this morning but couldn't put my finger on it. I felt bad for Mindy that she decided to attempt to find love with him because she seemed somewhat sincere about her feelings and he seemed sincere that he wanted an easy lay. That being said I'm glad he didn't pick her, screw up her life even more and then toss her to the curb. She has a chance now to go out there and find a better person that would appreciate her and fit her better.

oh i think he's ready for LOVE but not ready for ONE WOMAN ONLY IMO he would be better off sticking to his party ways instead of trying to commit to one woman..but I still say [[him and Taya are finished and he is having some serious second thoughts when it comes to Mindy]]

Everyone keeps saying poor Mindy, she knew what she was getting into going on ROL, she's not so innocent... at least Taya had enough respect for herself not to sleep with him before elimination (or any other time during the show).
