I dislike Taya. She had a "superior" attitude towards the others, and yet she was no different than any other "stripper", who has been on this show; just a bit more notarity. Her "weepy" demeanor and "perfect" opinion of herself is a bit more than I could stomach. I am guessing that they didn't make it too long after this show finished filming. Didn't Beverly say in her interview that she saw Taya in a club? Of course she has her own "section" for FANS!

Is there going to be a "reunion" show where they all get together and dish the dirt? Will we find out if they are still making a go of the relationship or if he wants another run on the bus?

I'm sure whatever 'relationship' he had with Taya is long done. I think they are already filming ROL 4. I also wonder if they are going to have a reunion? Those are always entertaining, fists fly, drinks fly, etc...good fun!

Isn't the reunion episode next Sunday at 9?

Butterfly, I think that he picked the woman that was not that into him. Both Bret and Taya (not even her real name

) served their purposes for doing the show.

I feel that Taya is getting an undeserved bashing from the other girls on the show. She was, imo, very different from the other strippers because she did not act like a drunken, potty mouthed moron. She behaved with a certain degree of dignity, even more so than the girls who weren't `strippers.' She didn't even swear all that much. She came across as having a degree of intelect not normally seen on this type of show. She WAS superior in some ways, to the other girls because she didn't necessarily behave as badly. Since I haven't seen one of her shows I can't tell you if she's a stripper or a `burlesque dancer', as she says, but as someone else on the thread pointed out, there is a huge difference. Maybe she really is a stripper and maybe she is embrassed by that fact and denies being connected to it, but she still came across as a lot nicer and ladylike than almost everyone else on the show. I was dissapointed in her behavior on the finale, but the show is what it is, as the annoying cliche goes. I also think she was sincere in the way she tried to help Mindy deal with her constant insecurities. I didn't see it as superior and certainly Mindy didn't see it that way, imo, until it suited her purposes to throw Taya under thew bus (another cliche)! I also thought Taya's denials about having any emotional baggage seemed more of a defense mechanism rather than the truth.
As for Beverly's attack, on Taya, in her interview: Beverly of all people, shouldn't be pointing fingers, she sounds like a petty, vicious little drunk who spent a good part of the series crawling around like a bar slug, desperate to hook up with anyone who looked at he rfor no more thna a nano second. I liked Beverly and kept giving her the benefit of the doubt-but her interview changed my view of her. That she went to Taya's show just to make fun of her tells me she has a lot of growing up to do. And way too much time on her hands.
I don't know, Taya just didn't come across all that badly to me. I kind of liked her. And I liked Mindy, too. The perfect ending for me would have been Mindy and Taya telling Brett to take his rings and shove them as the two of them walk off together, hand in hand, all `sisters are doin' it for themselves'.
