As to what I think Brett looks like without all of the pancake make-up:

A short, balding, scraggly haired, 44 year old guy.

I don't think that groupies care what the rock star looks like or Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would never have gotten a date. It's the aura of being a rock star that counts I guess.

The only rock star I have ever had a crush on was Jim Morrison of The Doors and he was VERY cute.

I think that Bret is just looking for a "good time" girl right now. He had just exited a ( at least 8-year) relationship with the mother of his daughters only a month or two before this started, so I am thinking he is just looking to have fun.

To me that means almost anyone can win.

I watched the last episode again and the only one I can really stand is Rodeo. All the other girls, especially Lacey, I find to be extremely annoying. It seems like the more I watch this show the more I hate everyone on it though, even Bret.

I'm glad that rodeo intervened between dallas and lacey because that was just ridiculous, but for some reason she is irritating. i get the feeling that though bret may have initially felt a bond with her, that is lessening with time and they don't exactly seem like a couple that would be on the same page.

i have to admit though that as i am writing this, i am questioning myself as to why i care enough to think this much about it..................
