Thanks for your answer! I never even gave it a thought that items could be brought in by boat to the refinery in the nice weather.

So I saw the preview for next week, and Hugh is pulled over and asked for his registration. If he doesn't have it, shouldn't the company be responsible?? He's only driving the truck, it's a company truck, therefore it's their responsibility to have their papers in order.
New season starts tonight!! Wonder what Ice Road they'll be on this year??? And my info guide thing says Rick Yemm and Alex Debagorski, I thought Rick was fired/quit and Alex retired.
Love this show, not sure why but I do. :)
Not sure about Rick, but I too thought Alex retired, wanting to spend time with family etc., unless it was musing whether he should retire and spend time with family.Quote:

Pushing the Edge/Ice Road Rage
Premiere Date: 06/05/2011
The Ice Road Truckers are back in action, and the roads are more dangerous than ever. Lisa's first run of the season goes south in a hurry. Two rookie drivers raise the stakes in the "Dash for the Cash." And old pros Hugh and Alex, along with wildcard Rick Yemm, leave Alaska behind to take on some of the most remote and deadliest roads on the planet. Then, Hugh and Rick roll deeper into the Canadian outback, while a dangerous overflow may leave Alex stranded in the wilderness. Dave's training run with Tony reaches the boiling point. Lisa Kelly goes on a rescue mission. And Maya's first look at the Haul Road may be enough to send this rookie back to the big city. (2 hours.)
I know Rick redeemed himself with the India Trucking episode ... but how many times are they gonna give this guy a chance? And I thought the last time we saw them in Alaska the Carlisle guy said something about Hugh never driving for them again. I'm seriously tired of him. I like the rest of them, though.
I've watched since the first season, but it's getting old for me. Sad to say, I know.
I guess enough time has passed to comment after myself ... :)
So they put Hugh and Rick back in Canada (read between the lines, Carlisle said NO WAY to Hugh.) Alex had to be there for Hugh to have competition, because I don't think Rick will be.
Hugh leased Rick the other truck, so he's not working for him again like Hugh stated would never happen again. Hmm.
I hate that either Maya or ???? (India road guy, what is his name!) will not make it. I could see it with either of them now, but wish they'd both be successful.
What happened to Jack, the laid-back mentor to Lisa? I liked him.
Lisa's hair color is fine, but she still has her moments.
