    true sukee.

I think I'd have to say that the Tim McGraw impersonator was my favourite because he was so much like the man himself.

I missed it last week but some of this stuff is so pathetically funny! I loved the Howard Stern guy though, he was dead on. I can't believe they let the Gloria Estefan lady through. I didn't think she was good enough.

ETA: I think the Roseanne lady is pretty good. I didn't think the Madonna impersonator sounded enough like her but she did look like her.

I agree that the Gloria Estefan wasn't that good, she sang nothing like her and certainly didn't have her energy.

    Roseanne really was good.

I would like to see a Sean Connery imitator who actually imitated his voice

These judges aren't consistent with their picks. They tell some people they don't look like the person even though they sound like them. Then they tell someone else they sound like the person but don't look like them. Then they put a few through who clearly don't meet both criteria.

Ex. The Kenny Chesney guy did look like him but he didn't sound like him. But I'm willing to give some people a second chance to make a better impression the next round. The Dolly Parton girl was very good but she just looked too young and didn't have all the right equipment (if you know what I mean lol!) but nothing a good stuffing won't fix.

Not only that... the most feminine looking.

I guessed wrong. I'm embarrassed to say.

I do see some logic here. It has to do with singing. A singing impersonator can afford to look less like a celeb. Someone who only talks has to rely on the resemblance more.

Groucho AND George Burns were great!

    Some real ugly comes up:

Ew. Anna Nicole Smith. Ew. Fake Bon Jovi. Ew. Fake Barbara Streisand. Ew. Fake Neil Diamond. Just... EW!

The Rodney is a good case of a guy who does a great job without looking like someone. The voice is good enough to overcome the complete lack of resemblance, IMO. For the most part that's not true of most of the non-singers.

That's why I find fault with them putting the Gloria Estefan, Kenny Chesney, and Madonna impersonator through. In my opinion they just didn't sing like the singer even though they had the look down.
