I had to vote for trading spaces . I love that show. I think Vern has the best rooms. I haven't seen a room I didn't like of his yet.

I didn't vote because I love Changing Rooms and Trading Spaces equally, along with so many others, such as Design on a Dime and Decorating Cents (love my HGTV). I like CR and TS because I get to see some of the most outrageous makeovers as well as the reactions from the home owners. Makes me cringe sometimes. LOL

I like designer's challange for a couple of reason's you get to see three seperate visions of the same room, from three designers which all pitch and have to get the approval of the home owner. The winner gets to do the room...each is chosen for a particular design element...Its probably got little to offer do it your selfers....but wow some of the rooms are fantastic.........

I've never been a huge fan of Painted House, because I'm not really into paint effects.

As some of the shows are quite old now, the effects they show are really obvious as compared to the more muted and subtle effects that are more the trend now.
She does some really clever things with paint, but I'm just not a lover of faux looks really.

Oh, another show I really like is Holmes on Homes.

Not really a decorating show, the host is called in to fix building projects that contractors have messed up.
