I actually kind of like Rebecca's makeover. I guess we'll see when we have more than a screencap from a 10 second clip.

Sinead looks fantastic with the short hair. Long hair was totally not meant for her. It wasn't necessarily bad, it' just didn't do anything to enhance her look.

I'm a bit perturbed by the idea of the "live octopus on head" shoot. Not because I think it's gross or because I think it's stupid (I can totally see the angle their going for), but because I think it's a bit cruel to the octopus. They're very intelligent animals, and it just seems wrong to take an aquatic creature and let it suffocate on some girls head.

The CNTM makeovers are just... fugly. I think the girls in the fading pic last episode were beautiful. Just keep your hands off their hair Jay Manuel or whoever decides what the girls' makeovers are!

Two continuity problems in the first episode. When the judges are going through each girl to make the final selection it says Michelle (Mika) is 23, but she's actually 25. In the judging room when Steff goes up for her critique she's wearing her jacket, but then the very next shot is of her with her jacket off. Continuity errors are fun to find, like a little treasure hunt heehee

Wow, sorry, but CNTM sort of sucks this cycle, too.

Steff is almost a carbon copy of Andrea in some ways, which annoys me to no end. The judges, especially Jeanne, however respectable she is, are simply way too over-the-top. During casting, I was just shuddering at how Stacey, Nole, and even Jay were being so dramatic. Ugh, please. The photoshoot was fine.

Definitely a disappointment. It's really just the same last cycle. Also, Jay copying Tyra to the T (I was literally able to predict that he'd say, "And the final girl who will round out these beautiful nine girls..." just as Tyra did during Cycle 8's casting) was quite tedious and boring.

My favourite moments from this episode had to be.....

Tia: Those that cannot drink still come downatairs because we're gonna party.

Mo: I'm so exhausted right now hence the AL-CO-HOL.

Gina: *That sort of yell she made when she was enjoying something*

Steff: Guys this is intense like look what the tv says.....on the fridge like that,thats us

Oh, and Mo definitely seems like the Sisi of this cycle. Sisi was by FAR sub-par in the first photoshoot, as was Mo, yet she was able to turn it around.

I actually like Rebecca's makeover, it complements her right triangular shaped head. The color is good too.

Steff's is terrible. I REALLY hope she goes next.

Sinead's is too short, it should be more Twiggy (like Rina) than Mia Farrow (Mollie Sue).

OMG! Doesn't Tia look like Kata from Hungary? All the more reasons to hate her!

So my top three is Gina, Sinead, and Tara. The only ones I find worthy.
