| Re: Top Model Shows Outside the U.S. Well I just checked the Who poll and Steph is leading by a massive amnt--something like 60/40. I don't know, I still think this cycle is the best ever, talent wise. |

ANTM has had some remarkably beautiful girls that are total models like April Wilkner and Nik Pace and Joanie and Jaeda (if only she could have posed better), but for only having one cycle so far I actually liked a few of the CNTM cycle 1 girls. Dawn Buggins was totally stunning and if I could jump into her body she'd be so famous people would be like "Giselle Bundchen....? Oh yeahhhh..... I kinda remember her." LOL And Sylvie Majcher looks flawless in her portfolio photos she has done since CNTM. Even Sisi who I hated at first won me over because girl could take a fierce snap and that ain't no lie! Brandi may be a bit too commercial / lad's mag for me but her beauty is undeniable. The AusNTM girls this season were a big disappointment for me. First of all, not one single girl of colour? Not one??? What's up with that? Australia has so many gorgeous women of aboriginal, asian and south asian descent. We couldn't find one this year??? Anika had a great face and Paloma was really modern and strong in my opinion, and Sophie and Kara (Cara?) were so so, but the rest were not even close to models. Cassandra was totally fug and her teeth looked like a hockey players on meth, Danika's face looked like a post facial reconstruction surgery and the swelling is still at it's maximum, and Jordan and Steph H are beautiful, but not model beautiful. Well, maybe if Jordan was four or five inches taller, but even then... If it weren't for Paloma and Alice this cycle would have been bankrupt. And Alice better win because girlfriend is so vicious fierce she may actually be the first Top Model alumni to really take the international fashion world by storm.

| Re: Top Model Shows Outside the U.S. There's no way Tia is getting cut. I've seen a couple interviews now where Jay is gushing about Tia and how her over exaggerated features will make her a star. I'm not in love with her based on her pre- show photos but who knows maybe she'll be the Sisi this season and force me to believe. I have a strong feeling that Cori and Tia do very well this season, Tia because Jay seems to love her so much and Cori because she was very excited for this cycle to start airing according to her posts on another site. I also heard through the electronic grapevine that Rebecca causes some serious drama this cycle, who would have thought eh? And my initial fears have been allayed because there's supposed to be tonnes of drama this year which is all I could hope for!! Quote:

| Re: Top Model Shows Outside the U.S. Grendel has got the grand prize in her bag. I think Starz will choose her over Rina, if the agency has say about who the winner is

| Re: Top Model Shows Outside the U.S. Elf gone? That's horrible. She was by far the best and my fav I thought all her pictures were great. Well Grendal for the win I guess. I can't wait to see Canada on youtube. Mo better win that stuff. I hate this slow computer I can't get what I want to see fast enough. I'm totally lost right now with these Top Models anways that I don't really care that much anymore. but I digress, PNTM:Grendal CNTM:Mo AusNTM:Alice I think that's it I don't know whatever. |

Damn I'm Canadaian and I'm so pissed that Jay is gassing this Cycle of CNTM up like it's gonna produce the next Linda Evangelista because we all know it's not. He's setting so many unrealistic expectations! His face is everywhere in every damn Canadian publication this past week and all he can talk about is how great and dramatic and revolutionary and fashionable it's gonna be and how much better than ANTM it's going to be. Well in my books it's not hard to be better than ATM, but still.... Does he not have any loyalty? Although I do agree about everything he said about ANTM, can he really fix all those problems with the Canadian version? Will it really be THAT much better, THAT much more successful? After last year's disappointing run, I'm not getting my hopes up.
