Lauren was definetely shorter than the other girls, but we really don't have any idea how tall the other girls were. I think she's at least taller than Aaron though, who comes off as like 5'6.

Sadly, as a drama instigator, Aaron stands a decent chance of sticking around for a while. The only semi-modelly one who causes drama is Rachael (Apparantelly, at least according to several eliminees' interview), but she doesn't cause TV drama. I'm sure either Aaron and Stefanie, if not both, will be around for quite some time. Especially since the show has two really obvious cuts to make in Lisa and Lynzi.

I don't think Lisa's that obvious. Lynzi, yeah, but Lisa has had some pics panel has creamed themselves for so I think she might place around top 6.

I don't think Rachael is that bitchy. Catty, yeah, but harmless mostly.

And if I hear one more thing about how Stefanie struggling with being glamourous, I will hunt her down and scalp her.

They just had a thing on Today Tonight, on Channel 7 (rivals to foxtel) about how aweful they treat Alamela. I was sure that they were going to go into a large spiel about how the show should be off the air, but they didn't, they basically said Demelza was a hypocritical bitch. I was like WTF??

They showed extra footage, filmed from a camera on a computer screen....lol.... showing Charlotte's full speech to the girls, and a priceless quote from Alex Perry, (OzNTM, don't tell them the quote, let them watch it themselves)

Finally watched the first bit of the show this time. Leiden talks about Emma leaving. Alamela says it’s starting to feel empty with all these people missing. Demelza says she thinks Alyce feels it’s great that Emma’s gone. Jonathan comes down the stairs and tells the girls it’s time to get serious. This week the girls meet highly trained and highly qualified professionals to find out if they have what it takes. He says he won’t see them again til the photoshoot, he also gives them Jodhi Mail. The girls aren’t sure what it means. Leiden says the girls got nervous because Jonathan usually helps them out a fair bit. They go to Mink Sadowsky meets the girls and tells them about what she’s done and that she’s books models now, Trevor Stones is there as well. They will be seeing how the girls are doing. They are first asked to walk the catwalk. Some of the girls don’t walk well at all. Alex says she thought she would do ok today because she won the last catwalk challenge, but Mink tells her she’s too over the top and embarrassing. Leiden gets to the end of the runway and says “Oh I suck”. Trevor and Mink don’t know what to say. Rebecca says it was funny Alamela struggled at the start because Alamela thought she was going to be the best. Demelza says Trevor and Mink said Alamela was pretty crap and that made the rest of the girls laugh. Then the girls have to walk on a catwalk with sand on it. Alex says everytime she went out there she wasn’t good so she just gave up. Their last challenge was wearing a trenchcoat with underwear underneath walking up the runway. Mink says she thinks a lot of girls learned a lesson, that 80% of the girls took onboard what they said. Alex was the only one according to Mink who didn’t change. Demelza was the most improved. Mink then gives the girls Jodhi Mail – it’s printed on a scarf – the girls are required to dress like models the next day. Alamela was in the kitchen and Demelza hit her with a water bomb. Alamela says in confessional she’s been bullied before, because she’s different but it’s something she’s learned to live with. She was then sitting on the lounge and someone asked her if she would get upset if someone poured water on her, - it happens and she just takes it. Jamie says she thinks Demelza will keep trying to make Alamela snap but she doesn’t think she will. Belinda says it looks like everything rolls of Alamela’s back but she can see it in her eyes that it doesn’t.

The girls go to Priscilla’s Model agency. Jodhi is there – she says a good model is only as good as her agent. Priscilla tells them it’s go-sees time. She tells them they are going to see 3 of Australia’s top designers, they have a car and a driver but will have to find their own way aroud and are broken up into groups of 3 and one group of 4. Shots of the girls in the cars giving directions. Leiden says she was pretty nervous and she forgot what she was doing, she went to put on some pants at Bowie Wong but forgot to take off her shoes and the designer told her to be careful. Demelza says it was quite daunting standing at Nicola Finetti (?) with him only saying about 2 words to them. Belinda has to work on her walk, Alyce has an interesting face. Bowie thinks Demelza is an interesting name. One of the girls thought they would see a woman at Nicole Finetti but there was a man. Sorry I can’t keep up with who’s where (and who the designers are). You guys will just have to watch and see for yourselves lol. The girls arrive back at Priscilla’s – they were all late and most of them failed to make an impression on the designers, but the winner of the challenge is Alyce. She has to choose 2 girls to enjoy the prize with – she chose Beck & Demelza. Caris says she didn’t think Demelza liked Alyce that much. The winners get pearl necklaces (worth $6000), dresses and their own photoshoot in Body + Soul (newspaper liftout)

Beck says her, Alyce and Demelza said goodbye to the others, thinking they were going somewhere for the photoshoot but it ended up being in their backyard. Some of the other girls were walking on treadmills watching the photosoot. Then ? had the idea of mooning the girls doing the photoshoot. So they do and the other girls start laughing, which they say was good because that’s what the photographer wanted. Demelza keeps trying to get Alamela to crack – Belinda says it was like being back in school with the nerdy person being teased by the cool kids. Demelza keeps going on about it, then Alamela does say something – she says in confessional that it felt good to say something but she doesn’t think it would’ve made any difference so she’ll just go back to being quiet. Belinda says something to Alamela about Demelza needing to be on the treadmill and then says something in confessional that they can dish it out but can’t take it. The photoshoot finishes and the photographer gives them Jodhi Mail. They run upstairs to share it with the others. Something about a quote from Prince and have they got enough to cook in this book? Photoshoot time. It was in a warehouse/studio type thing. Alex Perry and Jonathan are there. Jonathan says he left them alone to see if they can sort it out for themselves. It’s a shoot for Alex, he says if things don’t fit the girls then they won’t be doing the shoot because he has a standard size 8. Alex says he doesn’t think they really grasp what it means to be a top model. He has to guarantee to get a good shot so he brings along Laura G, his guarantee model. She goes first, and the girls are in shock watching her.

BNTM is rubbish, imo.

Hardly any of the girls seem to have much model potential (at least not 'top' model potential, which I thought the show was supposed to be about).
The photoshoots are ridiculous and tacky, like ANTM's used to be before they woke up a bit. The jeans one was good, but the dog one? It made ANTM's cycle 4 one look super high fashion.
Lisa Snowdon is no Tyra Banks. Despite Tyra's fakeness at least Tyra appears to have more than a passing interest in her show.
The new judges seem to just want TV fame. Their insults are just completely over the top, especially Gerry's.

And most of all, how ANNOYING is Rachael?

Urghhh. Her voice is irritating, she's full of herself and she slags off the other girls in a way that she obviously thinks is entertaining, but isn't. You can just tell she thinks that people want to listen to her. Well I don't. Hope she goes soon.
I'm supporting Lisa. She may not look that modelesque in person but she's got the best personality (imo) and I think can photograph quite well.

Maybe I'm just used to ANTM. What I like most about ANTM is the diversity. You have girls from so many different backgrounds, on BNTM is mostly just the same look.
