I think the main criteria for choosing cities now is based on the access to bars and booze. The cast members don't really go into the cities anymore.

they should definitely do L.A./Hollywood and arrange for the cast members to run into celebrities, etc and see how they react, that could become interesting.....

They actually had planned to do a season here in the Detroit suburbs and had even purchased a loft in Royal Oak. But it all fell through for some reason.

I heard when MTV execs announced that it was Denver instead of Detriot, it came as kind of a shocker. Everyone was expecting it to be there, but then they transfer to Denver.

I wonder what happened.

I don't think the first season in Los Angeles was all that trashy. I would rather they go to new places than repeat though.

Ok, I may be biased because I am a country girl...but I think it would be great to throw some of these spoiled kids on the Real World into a farmhouse in Hicktown, USA. Make them work on a farm, adopt a southern accent, the whole 9 yards. I think it would make for some great TV because they would freak out!
