Just wondered if any one else here had checked out the website. Two new judges and new main host.

The biographies and videos are also up of the ten contestants.

The new season starts January 11 at 10/9 Central.

I haven't watched since season 2. I love Blake Shelton but haven't heard of the other two. I'm glad Nancy O'Dell is gone. She dressed like a hooker. But I guess if I had her body maybe I would too

I also didn't like the brothers who were judges. Warren brothers?

The contestants sound good. I've always felt that this was the best of the music reality shows. The folks have to have all the skills.

Nancy O'Dell, in my opinion, was the best host they ever had of the show. Every year I miss her more. I am very tired of Anastasia being a judge, I would have rather they traded out her than either of the male judges.

Aceon6 - I agree with you. It is far and away my favorite music reality show, quite possibly my favorite reality show in general.

Is Anastasia from the very first show? I don't remember the name of the woman judge from season 1, and I think she was on season 2.

I didn't watch all of season one or two, but I know she has bugged me through seasons three and four.

Seasons 1 and 2 judge was Tracy Gershon...sister of actress Gina Gershon (Showgirls, etc) and Gershon is the Senior Director of A&R and Artist Development at Sony Music Nashville.

I also liked Nancy O'Dell as a host...she's gorgeous! I was also a big fan of the Warren Brothers...they made it fun!

Thanks for the refresher on the seasons 1 and 2 female judge.

I can accept that I'm the only one who doesn't like Nancy or the Warren brothers . Although I don't specifically remember what it was about the brothers that bothered me. I did like the song they sang that was in the movie Where The Heart Is (love that movie!). Maybe it was the bickering they had with the other judges. Sometimes it was fun but other times it was mean (on all of the judges parts).

Since I haven't watched since Season 2 I'm looking forward to fresh faces.

That's who it was...I couldn't remember who the female judge use to be. Thanks for solving that mystery.

ETA: It is going to be really, really hard for anything to top last season with me.

Well I apparently have been living under a rock and only concentrating on AI because I didn't realize that there are 2 people (brother and sister) who are from my area who are contestants on Nashville Star!!! How cool is that?!

BTW, is this thread going to be moved to the top of the FORT board?
