Nice colour but WTF was she doing putting the TV in one corner and then turning the couches AWAY from it?

I love Gen's rooms. She always does a great job. I loved the wall color, just the punch the room needed.

I think the room looks great, but I agree w/ Ducky re: the TV. It doesn't make sense to have the couches turned away from it!

I love the wall color and the shelves.
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer

    I generally hate Gen's rooms.
I'm pleased to see her moving away from the whole "shabby chic" thing though.
That's been done to death and I never personally liked it.

I liked the wall colour and the shelves too, but hate the drapery fabric.

I actually thought the drapes weren't so bad. At first I was like, "Ew!" but now I don't mind it.

They seemed a bit 70's to me.
The wall colour could definitely take a strong drapery pattern, but it just didn't really appeal to me.

I have exactly the same color on my dining room and den walls, but geeze, I left the ceilings white. WHAT was I thinking???
