| 1 Vs 100 Has anyone checked out this new show with Bob Saget? It's actually pretty cool. It actually reminds me somewhat of a game show that was on in the late 90's with Chuck Woolery (I think). Ummm....1 contestant would challenge different people in a trivia game and the contestant would have a chance at boosting his/her winnings to thousands or millions of dollars. Wish I could think of the name of it. But this is the same premise. You have one main contestant and a panel of other "contestants" calle "The mob". The mob has devices (much like AFV). Bob Saget will ask the main contestant and the mob the same question. There are mulitple choice answers. The mob will give their answers and the main contestant will give his/her answer. If the contestant gets the answer correct, they go to the mob. Each member of the mob that gets the answer wrong is eliminated. With the first question, each mob member eliminated earns the main contestant $100. The second question is $500 and so forth up to $5,000. If he/she manages to eliminate all 100 members of the mob, his/her winnings jump to $1,000,000! Now, if the contestant is unsure of the answer to a question, he can ask for help. 2 members of the mob are randomly chosen to tell the contestant what they think the answer is and why they chose that answer. If the contestant is still unsure, he/she can ask for his/her 2nd help. Once again 2 mob members are randomly chosen. After hearing their opinions, the contestant can either walk away with whatever money he/she has or risk it and answer the question. If he/she gets the question wrong, he/she loses all the money he/she has earned up to that point. This is actually a really fun game. It's a little bit "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" and a little bit of that other game show I mentioned at the beginning. If I find out the name of it, I will edit my post to add it in. Definitely a fun game to watch. ETA: The name of the game show was Greed.

| I've been watching it, and I really like it. It has the "will he be smart enough to walk away" tension of Deal or No Deal, but the questions allow for viewer participation that doesn't exsist in Deal or No Deal. IMO, it's the lack of viewer participation that makes Deal fun for about 2 episodes, and then quite boring. But it does throw me constantly now to see Bob Saget in that "mr nice guy" image that he's built for TV, knowing just how drastically it contrasts from his stand-up persona. |

| I find it incredibly boring. The questions are not only way too easy, but c'mon -- multiple choice? It seems to be nothing more than a cross between "Deal or No Deal" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" -- both mind-numbingly boring, playing to the reading level of People magazine -- almost. I guess that the producers' way of adding interest is to find idiots to fill a certain percentage of the mob to get a certain number of obvious answers wrong. And in a one-hour show, there are what? something like only eight to ten questions? Feh! Give me the pace, quantity, and varied difficulty level of "Jeopardy!" anyday.

| Looks like they found a new BOB. After Bob Barker retired from The Price is Right, Bob Saget dones a great job hosting 1 vs. 100. I love the look of the 1 vs. 100 arena. And the game concept is outstanding. In the past game shows that haves famous BOB's. Bob Barker, Bob Eubanks, and Bob Goen worked in the game show industry for years. In the future Bob Saget will be next. |

1 vs. 100 is actually a good game show though.

| I really don't get where 1 vs. 100 is good. It's boring -- slow pace and way-too-easy questions (with multiple choice responses). Uggh!

| I agree about most of the questions being easy but to me the pace doesn't seem that slow at least compared to shows like Millionaire and Deal or No Deal. Thanks |

| The ratings aren't a Deal or No Deal bonanza, but they also put it on Friday nights, where it's never going to garner as big of an audience. But they were happy enough with the ratings to order up more shows. Besides, the game shows that do HUGE ratings up front usually sputter and go away quickly. |
