We didn't ever see Jackie's jealous behavior, but she admitted that she was a jealous person when talking to that client she went to train (the cute married one she flirted with). When that woman asked how Jackie would feel if Mimi kissed another woman, Jackie said she'd kick her ass. I think she made it pretty clear in that conversation that she's got a jealous streak.

Not that I don't think Mimi is a little nuts, I just don't think she deserves all the blame for the failure of the relationship. I was pretty impressed with Jackie's honesty about herself in relationships: some people wouldn't be so self-aware about their faults....or at least they wouldn't discuss them on TV!

Thanks, Critical. I did miss that conversation... had that one going in the background rather than paying full attention.

And let me correct one impression: I do not think Jackie was blameless in the relationship, but from what we've been shown there's been more evidence that Mimi's acted out on her jealousy. I do think Jackie hasn't been as attentive, perhaps, as she should be when Mimi has expressed some of her concerns. From what we've been shown, she's been too quick to dismiss Mimi's concerns without delving into the root of her feelings and honestly trying to allieve Mimi's fears. And I'm sure her new business does take most all of her time now, as Mimi has complained.

But I don't think that Mimi could have been placated at this point.

I dont' think either of them were real prizes in the relationship department, but I think Mimi was far worse then Jackie. I'm not sure how long the biting had been going on but to put up with that for any amount of time is just a sign of something wrong with Jackie. And that's just one sign. Also the dating but "I really want to work on the relationship", no sorry, even if the comment is thrown down by the other person, you end the relationship or you don't. Jackie just walked into that sick little game with her eyes open and then was amazed it backfired on her? If she knew Mimi as well as she insisted then of course she knew going on a date, even if told too, would lead to fireworks.

Jackie reminds me of the guy who always ends up with a crazy out of control girlfriend. She likes women on the edge, but can't figure out why they can't be controlled or control themselves.

I'm pretty sure the necklaces are microphones; they all wore the same ones on Stripsearch.

Since I'm bored at work today, I decided to do some quick online searches and I have good news and bad news for you:

The Good News is: t-shirts and the trainer necklaces are available online at Jackie's site: www.skysportspa.com. The necklace (which I have to confess I never really noticed while watching the show) is $25.00 and the picture is exactly how you describe (a washer-type thing hanging off of a cord or rope). Actually, they're described on her site as "like the ones worn on WORKOUT by the SKY trainers, but only better!" Apparently, each one is hand-made, so no two are exactly alike.

Now for the Bad News: This popped up when I found the site: "Due to an unprecedented response we have temporarily stopped taking tshirt orders. Check the web for the newly designed and readily available tshirts coming soon!!!"

(Unlike the t-shirts, the necklaces do appear to be available now.)

Hope this helped....

Since I was already on the website, I also checked out the page with bios and information on Jackie and all the trainers. I always wondered what it cost to hire Jackie as a personal trainer. Now I know: $400/hour. The rest of the trainers shown on the show are $135/hour. There are also ten more trainers that weren't shown on the show -- they're $75/hour.

I wasn't even going to watch this because it was another reality show about vain, beautiful people in So. Cal. . Dr. 90210, The Hills, Laguna Beach, Blow Out, etc., already covered that.
But then I TiVoed a bunch and found it really good! Jackie seems authentic and the plot lines aren't nearly as contrived as they are in Blow Out. (Did Jonathan Antin's head physically get bigger over the past two seasons or was that just me?)
Anyway, I'm sorry it's over.

When I watched the last show, I did note that they called it the season ending! Sounds like we have more to look forward to.

I had mixed feelings about this show. On one hand, I was completey bored with Jackie- I didn't really care about her relationship with Mimi, and her soul searching, etc. I also felt like I was pushed into watching soft core porn a few times there as well- which made me uncomfortable. (I'm not against porn, but if I watch it, I want it to be my idea, not because it's on a reality show ) I did like seeing Jody and Tess and cheering them on with thier weight loss goals. Tess, especially, looked wonderful. I guess I wanted to see more *workout* stuff and less relationship drama because quite frankly- I don't see anything in Jackie to warrant her own show, except to promote her gym and workout clothes line.
I probably won't watch if there is anther season.

MMLEsq, thanks for the info! I was wondering what the trainers were running pricewise, and as scary as those numbers sound....they did produce nice results so I guess I wouldn't complain if I had it to spend.

I'm confused on the necklace thing though now because I assumed they were microphones as well (like thewhisk mentions a few posts up). Now they're promoting them as jewelry? Interesting. (makes me want to go check some of my Stripsearch links to see similarities)
