| Re: Canada's Next Top Model I am such a die hard CNTM fan that I simply shall not even pay attention to those who trash it lol. I actually really liked the first cycle because I'd been waiting so long for it to come. But this cycle was way more polished and completely entertaining. I totally love AusNTM too but I just don't think it's anywhere near as good as CNTM. The CNTM prizes were fierce this year, AusNTM it's like, yay you get to watch a boxing match. And whoever said AusNTM was completely white washed this year was dead on. Even GNTM which I loved this year and whose winner was was way to white bread too. One girl who was half asian out of how many? And as bad as Steff was at least she was no where near as fug as Cobi or Cassandra or Danika who were each about as much of a model as Michael Vick is an animal rights activist. CNTM needs to lose the not so subtle product placements, get rid of Paul the judge who was useless, and bring back more of Stacey, have more runway, more girls, more episodes and a travel destination or two BUT it's still totally what is up; all the hot jamz; the 411; all the hot gossip; what everybody is talking about. AusNTM did, however, have a way better winner this cycle but I think she's the best winner of any TopModel in any cycle and Rebecca is better than the AusNTM cycle 2 winner. CNTM rocks and that's final. I'm totally excited for ANTM cycle 9 to start this sept. too, because I think the girls are going to be strong contenders to be REAL models and not just reality show actresses this year.

| Re: Canada's Next Top Model I'm one of the people that liked CNTM this year. I didn't watch the first season of CNTM, so I don't have anything to compare the second season to except for other Top Model shows. But I'm not going to do that. It's weird because Rebecca and Sinead were the two people that I kept forgetting in the beginning. When the pre-show pictures were released, I could have probably named all the girls after one look, except for Rebecca and Sinead. I don't know, they just didn't pop up. Then they ended up being the final 2. And I'm happy about it. I'm not the hugest Sinead fan, but I did like her, and I thought she really did deserve to be in the final 2. Mid-way through the season (after Gina was eliminated), Rebecca became my favorite. I'm very happy she came out on top. ![]() There were pictures posted a long time ago that showed Rebecca with blonde hair. I thought she looked really good with blonde hair, which shows she could rock any hair color they give her. Brown, definitely looked good on her. Blonde, I thought she looked good with it. Red, a little weird at first, but she still made the look work. Like funkyfierce said, they should lose the product placements. I had to laugh everytime they advertised a product. ![]() |

| Re: Canada's Next Top Model funkyfierce--I have to disagree about Danica being under the FUG category. Steff never translated well to film, still or otherwise, whereas Danica had a handful of good shots. Cobi and Cassandra (ugh) were pretty bad, though, I will give you that. I also agree on Rebecca > Eboni
