As for the photoshoot, I liked Cori, Rebecca and Sinead (top half only). Hated Mo and Steffs. The rest I thought were not done tastefully enough (too softcore for me).

I really like Jay as a host but man, does he have to imitate Tyra exactly. Can't stand the repetition "10 girls stand be for me. Only 9 will continue blah, blah, blah" (always fast forward through those parts). Like we've forgotten how it all works since last week

I remember when cycle 1 aired I didn't know that Stacey was like Jean Paul Gaultier's ingenue and had been a successful runway model, but I did go "Oh my God that's that weird looking fish woman who played the stewardess, sorry, "flight attendant" in the Fifth Element. She's definately the poster girl for model ugly but I think she is pretty sassy.

Does anyone here think that the wikipedia spoiler about the girls going to New York this cycle is true? I could see it totally happening considering that's where Jay made his break and he wants to be this experience bestowing guru.

Looking back most of the girls don't really hold a candle to the ones on Cycle 1. As long as the winner is better than Andrea I'll be alright so it doesn't really matter that much. If Steff makes it longer than she needs to I will scream but it was only the first episode so I'll give her time to impress me but right now I don't even know how she made it on the show or Tia.

We won't have another Sisi.

Other people said that before and I was like, hmmm I don't see it, then I was taking screen caps of Tia because I wanted one of her sucking her thumb and there was a few frames where I was like OMG she totally looks like her! The distinctive mouth really adds to the similarity. Sandra was actually a model too in New york in her younger days if I'm not mistaken.

Regarding the post above I think maybe Tara might be the Sisi this season because she seems very photogenic and her long flexible limbs could allow her to get into some very avant guarde poses.

By the way I wonder if it's legitimate spoiler but names have been changed as this doesn't say Steff has the freak out over the shoot but the previews clearly show her crying over it. Hmmmmm

Original Airdate: June 6, 2007
The 9 remaining girls come back home emotionally-stricken after a tough judging. Meanwhile, Tara stresses about building a wall from the rest of the girls in order to focus more on the competition. Tension rises as Tara becomes overly assertive about her standing and a few of the other girls question her change of attitude.

The next day, the girls find out that they will be posing with octopi on their head. While preparing with make-up and hair, they are surprised to see Cycle 1's Sisi walking through the door. Sisi tells them that she will be there to assist them and give them a few hints during their shoots. As Tara and Rebecca freak out, most of the other girls embrace the shoot, with Cori once again stealing the photographer's heart. However, a misfortunate mishap causes Mo to be stung by one of the octopi's defense liquid which lands her in the hospital.

Later during the day after the photoshoot, Mo comes back with a little swollen eye and some contaminated forehead skin. At the same time, Tara struggles to find her place in the competition, having done badly in the day's photoshoot amid being very confident about being a major competitor to the rest of the girls the day before.

At judging, Mo isn't applauded for her photograph once again. To Rebecca's shock, her photograph turned out-in the judges' words: "one of the best in the bunch" despite her tear up during the photoshoot. Guest judge Tricia, on the other hand, adored Steff's and Cori's photos.

At elimination, Mo and Gina find themselves in the bottom 2. Though Mo took yet another bad photo for the second consecutive week Gina is eliminated, as the judges can't see past her over-sensuality that could hurt her as a model.
