I had the volume really low last night. I like a small amount of background noise when I study. But I missed just how badly Whitney's presentation flopped. Did they basically can her entire set of ideas?

I don't think Whitney's presentation went that badly from the outcome of it all. It seemed pretty nasty when I was watching it, but Lisa paid Whitney a compliment upon their return to LA, so it must have turned out alright in the end. I have to say it again, Lauren is getting more and more attractive every week. I completely LOVED the dress she was wearing in New York and it actually reminded me of one worn by Amanda on Ugly Betty.

I always thought Lauren was pretty, even though i am starting to despise her. I am also starting to learn this show is all fake and i am starting to loose interest. I didn't even see the last episode. Oh well

Is it a requirement to be a bitch to work at Teen Vogue? Everyone was practically sneering throughout Whitney's presentation. I'm surprised Amy Astley said it went well though of course we don't know everything she said to Lisa Love or whoever. (And why did Amy Astley seem so excited to see Lauren? Kind of weird.)Personally I think Whitney did an ok job (she would have done better if she had been able to answer the questions asked ie how many chandeliers, where the flowers were going etc). Her dress was far too dressy, though - I loved when Lisa Love said she expected Whitney to dress like that at the office from now on. Lisa Love made a joke - who would have expected it! Wonder if that was scripted?
Speaking of scripted...the scene where Frankie ran into Spencer outside the Bolthouse offices? Um, yeah...pure coincidence. Of course Frankie works for Brent "sometimes" and came to get a cheque. Yeah, right.

A friend had told me about the rumour about Heidi and Spencer at the airport and the whole thing about Heidi not working at Bolthouse at all, and I actually told her I believed Heidi did work there.

For some reason it makes me sad to think that the whole thing is staged and they don't even really have the jobs they appear to. That's just weird.

Anybody know details? Was Heidi ever really promoted, and when and why did she leave, and does she work anyplace or is she counting on a career in music (OMG!)????

Wow. I know they are opportunistic editorially speaking, lol,.... but i thought parts of the show were actually reality.
