The whole thing seems like a set up to me...like Heidi and Spencer planned what they were going to do for the sake of good television...and then they'd pretend to be upset with each other about it.

I have to disagree; heidi and Spencer are not that good at acting..His face looked like he was about to snap when he walked in and saw her painting the wall over. He just help his composure for the camera's. To me it seems like he might be a abusive person. Look at how heidi seems so scared of him. let me walk in my house and my man did some stupid stuff like spencer did. i would have sent him right to home depot to get some paint and fix it.

Did you watch the "Horror Movie" version of that scene on the Hills aftershow? It was priceless!

As i said before, it's not her fault that her friend's have such poor taste. She (like in the heidi situation) end's up with the brunt of it because they tell her the bad stuff and then come back with excuses. I can see how akward things can be/are.

I agree, Spencer looked like he was about to explode when he saw what Heidi was doing and while Heidi did take it upon herself to paint over it she looked a little scared when he came home. Like 'oh sh*t I'm in trouble' kind of look. I think she felt 'safe' knowing the cameras were there. I don't for one minute think Spencer is a nice guy he's too manipulative to be a nice guy...I agree that he is probably abuvise.

If my husband did that, I would put a call in to the most expensive painters in town and had him pay for it. Oh, surprise honey, you're home!!!!

I agree.

It's good to have friends who will be honest with you when you ask if they like your current beau, but it becomes a problem if she is like that with every guy.

I think Lauren just expects a lot from herself and her people...I got that impression when in the 1st season she was really disappointed/irrtated with Heidi when she decided not to go back to school after, what, 1 class. I mean, I undestand being disappointed at that but I would have been like 'eh it's your life'.....so she seems like she's hard to impress when it comes to the men her friends bring home. She just wants what is best for them; which can be a good and bad thing.

Saying that, if she gets back with Jason my theroy is totally out the window!

Re: The Hills

I felt there was far too much Heidi and Spencer in the latest episode.
Both episodes so far have started out with a Heidi scene.
I have no interest in seeing Brody and Spencer shopping for board shorts either or listening to the mindless drivel that passes for conversation between them.

I always felt this was Lauren's show, everyone else is a bit player.
Heidi's role was larger only because she was Lauren's room mate.
I only want to see Heidi and Spencer shown if they are in the same room, interacting with, or being snide about Lauren. (as we see in an upcoming episode where they are out in the same place as Lauren and Jason)
I don't want to see Heidi and Spencer sit around talking about buying crockery.

Lauren has had bad issues with guys. First Stephen basically walked over her to get to Kristin. Jason...need I say more. It seems like the guys on the show all want to be on camera more than her. Im sure she these are the reasons she will not trust guys right away. Honestly she needs to just runaway from LA, Cali scene and move somewhere without cameras where she can be herself and find herself. Im not saying forever but I doubt she will find herself or love in LA

Re: The Hills

I don't think Lauren was hard on Justin Bobby at all. The guy was surly when he came into HER apartment and didn't particularly go out of his way to be nice to her or Lo. At the restaurant, he burped multiple times in front of her and Audrina. The first may have been an accident, but then he went out of his way to burp loudly multiple more times. That's acceptable behavior for what age? Oh, that's right. None! And then he basically thumbed his nose up at her when she reminded him to be careful with Audrina riding on the back of his motorcycle. Any normal guy would've reassured her that of course he'd be careful with her.

None of the things Lauren expects of him are out of the ordinary. These are just some minor common courtesies that adults extend to each other when out in public. Justin Bobby used his being sick as an excuse for his being rude. It is true that when people are sick, they sometimes aren't quite themselves. But I get the feeling that the reason he came out wasn't because he wanted to see Audrina, but because he didn't want to lose his face time on the show.

Re: The Hills

I agree that Justin Bobby was rude at the restaurant and I do fault him more but I think Lauren was not perfect, either. Like when she asked him if he wanted to know her evaluation of him, and he said that he didn't care, she quickly piped in "Well, Audrina cares." Seemed kind of like a "nah nah, so there" response. If that makes sense. Also, when she kept telling him to be careful with Audrina on the motorcycle because she was precious cargo...I felt she went a bit overboard with that. It's one thing to say drive safely but she kept going on about it. Mind you, they all seemed to be drinking and none of them should have been driving.

Re: The Hills

Not that I ordinarily advocate violence, but I wish Jason would put his brawn to good use and pummel Spencer...at least just a little...when Speidi make that sex video comment at the restaurant next week...
