No, I would choose a girl if I had a really deep attraction to her. What I think is stupid is that it would have to be one or the other (the friend). No one should have to give me permission to date someone, unless they are the girl herself or maybe her family. But friends? Uhh, no. They're done, so why should they still dictate her and my life.

It's not about asking permission. It's about making sure the friend is okay with what is going on. "hey, I'm going to dinner with so and so, if you have a problem with that let me know.' I don't really see that as asking permission.

I'm sure anyone who has been in a long term relationship (especially living together) has had instances where they've wanted to go out with friends so the conversation goes like this 'I'm going out to the bar with the girls....' with a 'do we have anything planned tonight?' or a 'is this a problem' after that.

It's not asking permission, it's being considerate of the person enough to let them know what you are doing or (as in Stephanie and Doug's case) what is going on?

Considering the random dates on went on in my early teens and twenties I would never have picked one of those boys over my friends.

I was just watching Ellen and Audrina was on. She said that there is a rumor going around that Lauren slept with Justin Bobby

She said that right now, her and Lauren are still at odds trying to figure out the truth. So, if this is true, for someone who had a fit about Stephanie and Doug having dinner, she really hit rock bottom and has no right to be mad at someone else for having dinner

I just read something about that rumor. I don't know, Lauren seemed to not like Justin Bobby almost as much as Spencer, so it doesn't make any sense.

What is Audrina whining about? He's not her serious boyfriend, he probably doesn't even like her.
He's just there because of the cameras.

I think Lauren would do herself some good if she stopped trying to make this about her and contact Audrina and tell her that it didn't happen (if it didn't) because from what I heard on Ellen, but LC and JB's actions scream guilty.

I see your point, but for someone (LC) who is all up in arms b/c Stephanie and Doug had dinner together and she feels betrayed.

Before you can even go there, she doesn't really care for Justin. Hell, she didn't even want him invited to the house warming party.
