Has anyone noticed how MTV went from music videos to promoting hip hop culture, and now acts as a propaganda machine for the rich people? Why do people want to see these boring blonde rich kids from Cali? Their conversations are moronic, as if they have no interests in life except hanging out at parties, watching their lives slide by.

There are better soap operas on daytime TV.

Last night's episode was pretty good. You could tell that Lauren wanted to cry durring that last scene with Heidi.

I'm still trying to decide whether I believe Lauren in that video or the rumours that it's all made up.

That would be very disappointing, to say the least. I mean, it's not the best material I've seen on tv, but I don't think anybody likes the idea that the public is basically just being lied to and the jobs and all the rest aren't really what they do and they aren't who they seem to be.

Ugh. What a thought. Why watch at all? Something about that whole thing just bothers me.

If it were true that it's all fake, then I wish one of them would just admit to it.

I felt that Lauren saying, "I want to forgive you, and i want to forget you", just the way she said "forget" felt false to me. It felt acted and i mean poorly acted. It sounded too scripty to me and since they have a tendency to reshoot some scenes(like leaving a club), i don't put it beyond her to have either rehearsed that and/or have had it fed to her.

Honestly, at this point, I can't stand Lauren. The whole way she was talking to Heidi "You can talk to me if you apologize first..." ... so junior high school. First off, what proof does she really have that Spencer was the one who started the sex tape rumour (I mean, he's a likely suspect but where is the actual proof)? Secondly, I never got why she was so upset about it. Ok, I understand her being upset, but not to the point where "I wanted to die, it's the worst thing that ever happened to anyone wah-wah-wah." The only reason I can see her being that upset was if there really was a tape and she was worried about it coming out. But she has always maintained that there was not a tape. So what is she concerned about? People finding out she slept with Jason? What a shocker. If she doesn't want to be friends with Heidi...well, fine. No big deal. Just get over it already. I just find that Lauren acts so superior and it's not attractive.
The way Heidi had her head tilted after she said hi to Lauren at the party...like she was goading her on, waiting for her to say something. That was annoying as well.
I don't know why I bother watching this show. I've come along this far, I guess. And I do like Whitney (and Audrina to a lesser extent).
