| Re: 6/17/07 - comments I suppose it's possible if you self-published your book. All you need is the money. Armondo certainly has that. Not sure that that is he did though. |

| Re: Flip this House - on A&E He made a big point of saying it was published by the "Chicken Soup For the Soul" guy. Another inconsistency: Earlier in the episode he said he needed to make a three-week deadline for his publisher, but he didn't strike a deal with the publisher until later. The whole thing is phony. |

| Re: Flip this House - on A&E Last night was supposed to be a new Atlanta show, instead the CT guys were on. I wonder if A&E is done with Angie and crew, and I am still curious as to why Departure Films has yet to make any statement about 'their' show. |

| Re: Flip this House - on A&E The Atlanta crew were on at 8pm with a repeat. All my TV Guide said was plumbing problems and that is exactly what happened at 9pm with the Conneticut crew.

| Re: Flip this House - on A&E Oh God, Armondo again. It takes too long for my blood pressure to get back to normal after watching Armondo and trying to follow the logic and lies of any San Antonio show.

| 6/23/07 - New Haven crew - comments What totally bugs me about this show is this incredibly 21 day timeline it just does not fly with me. Anyway Than mentions that they do seminars and that one of their students found a house for them to redo. I do like that they do the comps and try to find a reasonable price to sell the house for. In that aspect they treat this very much like a business and it was nice to see them run the numbers. Still this house has some major problems as far a being on a very busy street and on a hill. Some people like noise, and being on a hill meams no lawn to mow. I for one would never buy this house based on that alone but someone will. The driveway needs to be redug and repaved. At this point in the show you would think that the project manager would immediately get on the phone for some estimates and schedule the work because according to him it is the busiest time of year for paving companies but no they show him calling like 5 days before the Open House. Please, just stretch the logic here. Stats: built in 1954 sq ft: 1,080 3 bdrms 1 bath -- owe but normal in an older home cost: $144,000 Budget: $25,000 Interesting to note that the company has a standard kithen package and bath package. I don't necessarily like tile countertops, too many grout lines to clean, I perfer solid surfaces, but the all white kitchen looks good. I did like how they introduced a new product which was tile on a laminate backboard that clipped into place instead of setting and grouting like regular tile, which was used in the kitchen and bath. I also like how each bedroom and the living room had overhead lights. Here in the DC area you would not believe how many builders do not put in overhead lights in these rooms and when I asked they said, 'well, no body put's in overhead light's, people have their own lamps and perfer them to what the builder would install'. What a bunch of hooey. Anyway the final stats are: Budget $26,250 price of house: $214,900 potential profit: $30,230

| 6/30/07 - San Antonio - Cottage House mmmmmm....... Last week in New Haven they showed us a student of Than's night class bring a property to the company. Now in San Antonio they are showing Chris the Unpaid Intern finding a property and bringing it to Armondo's intention with the deal that Armondo buy it and give Chris $5,000 to redo it and then keep all the profits. Chris wants this to be his first flip with Armondo doing all the financing. Yeah....... how Chris thought that would fly I don't know. I do wonder if he is playing a part because he is a total goofus. I also noticed a big goof on the floor plans. The floor plans show only one garage while in real life it is a 2 car garage with a huge roofed over shaded area in front of it. What was wierd was that there was no inside door from the garage to the house. The house was built in 1949 but it seems that some time between now and then and the additonal garages an inside door would have been installed. Also supposedly Armondo hired Chris to learn the business and that he was the best out of 5 or 7 candidates. I cannot believe he would have kept such a goofus around for long if Chris was actually this stupid. Personally I don't understand why they got rid of the black tile backsplash and black tile counters in the kitchen they did not look in that bad shape. Definitely the cabinets needed refreshing. What suprised me is after a yr and a half of seeing Armondo be a penny pincher we see him install that cobble stone system as a back patio, walkways from the back to the front, as the new driveway and as the pathway from the front of the house to the street. The way the products are shown I feel as if I am in an infomercial. A&E producers made some big deals with the manufacturers of these products. It seems so staged. Armondo's pricing of the house seemed off also, I do wish we had comps from houses in the area cause here it sold originally for $260,000 and he turns around and wants to sell it for $375,000 (if I remember correctly). That is a huge difference. What was surprising was Armondo showing us three previous houses they had done as an object lesson to Chris, the famous Cat House that pissed Armondo off being one. He says that all the initial deals fell through and that he had to rent them, but he was still making money by renting them. Ahh .... do I think A&E is spinning this after all the stories and rumours about the show being fake came out recently. Oh, yes I do.
