It's possible they're investment properties where someone has bought them but is now renting them out. Just because they're for rent doesn't mean Armando still owns them. Though it's a nice thought

Armondo has mentioned several times that the buyers can be real estate investors who buy rental properties. Remember when they redid those 5 houses were that one extended family lived. Two of those properties were sold to an investor.

People in the area, same street, have said that the show stops filming and a for rent sign goes up. When they call the number, its Armando.
Also, they have been very lax in getting permits and inspections. Rules vary from neighborhood to neighborhood in San Antonio, primarily because of the historical conservation. Those neighborhoods have many inspectors going through them because you cannot work in those neighborhoods without going before a board. They are always looking for violators because the fines are large.
In the areas where theses Montelongo homes are, inspectors go by when people report that work is going on, possibly without a permit. That's when this type of work gets caught.
A home also cannot get a meter or water service turned on without a complete final inspection and from the looks of it, and people's talking, these homes, at least most of them, are not getting these finals.

I just checked out the video and of course Sam is claiming it is all on A&E. I tried to check out Dale Russell's Blog because he said he had more information but there was no entry. Makes me wonder about Angie and her investor????

A&E did not show any Flip This House episodes. They ran a 24 Marathon. Wonder what will happen next??

BTW I checked out the Fox Atlanta blog again and more people have posted comments and at least 2 urls one to a Kansas newpaper and the other to the company Designed to Sell website. Both are interesting reads. There are many unhappy people in Atlanta. Sam Lecima was basicially using other people's money (investors) to supposedly buy houses and flip them and one way or another the investors lost their monsy but Sam is living large. Ah, the American' dream scam and steal from other people to finance your lifestyle.

I was very disappointed there were no "Flip this House" episodes aired this past weekend. Looking forward to seeing what's next for the Montelongos.

If nothing else I can vent my frustrations of the week out on Armondo. I mean he is the guy we all love to hate. I want my Armondo back so I can lash out and write about how despicable he is.
