If you guys read the book called Bunny Tales, you'd know that Hef likes the white trash ladies. In the book, Izabella St. James said that the women undergo huge transformations after they move into the mansion. Specifically in the book, she mentioned that Kendra had nasty teeth when she moved in, and some of the girls were talking smack about Kendra's teeth. But now, you'd never notice.

BTW...the book wasn't that great. Statements from the book come in handy and bring great insight to these discussions, though.

As a matter of fact, I'll tell you interesting things from the book now. I'm in no way calling this information fact, it's just what I read in the book.

1. Hef gives the girls Quaaludes (sp?) when they party. Izabella claims she never took them, though.
2. Holly is a freakazoid. She was always the first and the last to have sex with Hef on their sex nights.
3. Hef took viagra and would only have sex missionary. The rule was that if you did not want to have sex with Hef, just keep the panties on and he'll stay away. They'd bring in girls and at times, Izabella claims she witnessed sex forced on a few of the girls, but they wouldn't say no.
4. Holly was a freak in the sheets who got surgery to look like women Hef admired. She said Holly got Barbi Benton's nose and some other playmate's breasts to be what Hef wanted. She also liked movies Hef liked, and forced herself to have the same interests.
5. The book said Bridget was the only one who didn't have any surgery.
6. Yeah, the girls have a curfew and they're not allowed to have liquor in their rooms either.
7. All incoming calls come in to the butlers and are screened. People cannot call the girls' rooms directly.
8. She said the mansion is a pig-stie. She said there are poop stains on the carpets and the mansion is junky as hell, especially in Hef and Holly's room.
9. Hef doesn't own the mansion, the business does. The mansion is not a home, but more like a giant banquet hall. There's some type of party or function there every week and it gets annoying to live there. Hef rents the rooms. I think he pays $1,000/mo per room.
10. Hef gives the girls an allowance, but I don't remember how much it was.
11. Hef only makes don payments on cars for the girls...and they're responsible for the monthly payments. The author mentioned that some of the girls' cars get repo'd when they moved out.
12. It was always a fight over who got to sit next to Hef. Izabella supposedly left the house because she got bored. She told Hef she was leaving, so she wanted to sit next to Hef for her last night in the house. So Izabella sat next to Hef, and Bridget went ballistic and started crying. Izabella said Hef gives the girls what they want when they cry. Crying gets the girls what they want, and when Bridget cried like hell, Hef told all the girls they're leaving the party. Izabella and one of the other former girlfriends stayed. Izabella moved out the next day.
13. Hef only stays at parties for about 30 minutes or so. And Izabella said it isn't even fun to hang with Hef and his crew.
14. Also...Bridget was dating Hef's brother or one of Hef's friends when Hef asked her to move in.
15. Bridget and Holly conspired to get every woman out of the house. When they saw that Hef was about to bring a new girl in, they'd mess it up for the girl. Then, for some reason, Kendra was Holly and Bridget's new recruit. They'd get freaky with Hef and they wouldn't tell the other girls, not like the other girls cared.
16. All the girls, except Holly had boyfriends. (Bridget was married). Some of them even slept with the butlers.
17. Girls move in with Hef when they're nearly homeless and desperate. Bridget was desperate for money when she moved in, and Bridget's husband needed money too, so he was cool with Bridget moving in. I don't remember Holly's story. Kendra was a stripper when she moved in. People were concerned with Kendra's age since she was so young, but Kendra really wanted to get out of the strip club when she moved in.

Hope this helps! The rest of the book was garbage. I typed out all the interesting stuff from the book.

I remember being shocked when I read about the vehicle arrangments for the girls and also how little their allowance was considering that they live with Hef 24/7 365 and basically give up any REAL life of their own.

I read the book a couple years back so some of the details are a bit fuzzy now but I seem to recall that Izzabell had to cajole, sweet talk and wrangle to get the vehicle she wound up with and it wasn't her first choice... I believe she ended up with a Chev SUV or something, no Jag or Porsche that's for sure PLUS she had to go into the dealership where they all knew she was one of Hef's bimbos and then they contacted Hef's secretary blah blah to okay the deal... it was soooo hokey and not what i expected!

plus the girls have to go into Hef's room at a certain time on a certain Friday of each month or something and wait for him to hand them their allowance for the month and if you aren't there at the specific time then you wind up having to pester Hef to get your freaking allowance which was some piddly little sum like $4,000 per month or something.

Sheesh.... I've read books about other high end escorts like the Mayflower Madams girls and Heidi Fleiss's girls and they made $1,000 an HOUR or MORE in some cases and received all sorts of very expensive gifts from their clients.... they regularly made $10,000 in a couple days.....granted they didnt live at the Playboy "prison" but in my opinion that would be a bonus since Hef's girlfriends are treated like children who have to be in by 9pm "curfew" NO EXCEPTIONS or they get in trouble.

Plus heidi's girls and mayflower madam girls had their own apartments and could live their own lives, have boyfriends etc and not worry about hiding it from a control freak like Hefner.

The bedroom situation seemed very selfish to me with everything revolving around Hefner and how he wanted things, he slops Johnson baby oil all over himself and then basically flops on the bed, Holly takes over and gets things rolling and the other girls join in and it's ALL about Hef, he lays there like a beached tuna and didn't seem to reciprocate much if at all.

He gets bitchy if the girls get too much attention from other men while out at nightclubs and Hef likes to go home after an hour or 2 and get busy in the bedroom whether the girls want to leave or not.

PLUS when they go out to dinner Hef will NOT eat restaurant food, he has the Playboy chef prepare one of his meals (he has 5-6 dishes that he eats ALL the time day after day, year in and year out!)
His meal is sent to the restaurant from the mansion and if he isn't served quickly he gets moody about waiting for his food!

Seemed to me that much like another super wealthy man (Howard Hughes) Hefner is quite eccentric and odd.
Not to the level of Hughes but strange none the less.

The whole book gave me a creepy feeling about Hefner

Exactly, I didnt mean it was "piddly" to the general public but to girls who CAN work as high end escorts like a Playboy girl or a Heidi Fleiss, Mayflower Madam type of situation it is very little compensation in comparison to what girls at that level of the industry can make and they still meet famous people, movie stars, Oil tycoons etc etc... if you read the books about those girls they made hundreds of thousands of dollars, had their own luxury apts, put themselves through school and drove luxury cars and they didnt have to live with their clients 24/7 and be treated like a child with a curfew.

Hef controls their LIVES so it isn't just going to work 9-5 with weekends off!

It's LIVING there at his beck and call all year round and living by his rules.

$4,000 a month even with him making a car payment etc is not nearly as much as even a popular stripper can make let alone an escort who is selling sex!

All i know is I sure as hell wouldn't live there and have that old creepy grandfather groping me and telling me what time i had to be home,,,, for $4,000 a month and a car payment.
It has only been Holly and a few others that have had the added benefit of any "show" earnings.... most of the girls who have lived with him for the last 50 yrs only got their allowance, a car payment and the chance to "meet" famous people.

In that sense and in comparison to what other girls make... ya it's PIDDLY for what they are expected to do.

plus in the book Izzabell makes it very clear that Hef's GIRLFRIENDS are rarely if ever considered for a photo shoot in Playboy or to be a Playmate because Hef doesnt want them doing that... so they also have that opportunity taken from them.... lots of girls who have wound up being playmates and then gone on to be Playmate of the year which pays something like $100,000 and a fancy car made a point of NOT accepting his offer for them to move in and be a girlfriend because they knew that then they weren't even considered for a chance at being a centerfold or Playmate of the year.

Remember the show where Hef tells Holly, Bridget and Kendra that he is going to let them do a photoshoot?
and they were sooooo excited... that's because typically Hef doesn't let girlfriends do that or earn the money that it brings... he made an exception for those 3 because they cried and whined to him and he finally gave in but they were told that they would NOT be in consideration for the Playmate of the year.
He controls them and they do as he says or they get in trouble like a bad child.... that's why the girls "sneak" around and lie to Hef about boyfriends, husbands etc etc... blah... constantly living a lie and worrying about him finding out and getting angry and possibly kicking you out with nothing is just sick.

Some of them have snuck around and slept with the butlers in order to get their "needs" met cause let's face it... Hef isnt worried about that aspect.... so they're sneaking and lying day after day... blah

Just my opinion and to each their own but I wouldnt want to live in that atmosphere, sneak around and lie constantly year after year for $4,000 a month and an SUV that I'm responsible to pay for if i dare to move out or defy the "king"

Generally speaking none of his girlfriends prior to being him with him and getting their physical makeovers would be making that much in the strip clubs either. There are only so many high end strip clubs as well as only so many people willing to tip more than a dollar here or there. THey might do well in their jobs as strippers or working at the bunny ranch but they still would not be making what they are while living with Hef. We have to include whatever gifts they get as money they are making as well. So the roof over their head, any/all jewelry, the trips, the clothes, whatever vehicals they receive etc. So really they are doing better financially prostituting to the old man than they would just stripping in a club or working at the level of prostitute they could work at because these ladies don't have what it takes to work in the high end industry they would be more like bunny ranch material if that (prior to getting famous on tv I'm talking).

Wow, that creeps me out about Hef having sex with all those women at once. Just gross! I imagined that he slept with his #1 girlfriend but I didn't realize that they are no different than the girls at the Bunny Ranch in Reno. They are basically hookers, yuk!! So disgusting! I thought Bridget had more class than that, I guess I was wrong. What is wrong with these women's self esteem that they feel they have to sleep with an 80 something year old man along with other women? It's so sad!
