    Miami Ink

    I love this show!!
Is anyone else watching Ami, Garver, Nunez, Darren and Yoji?

It's only been on two weeks and I'm hooked, particularly on Chris Nunez

I've been watching. I like the style of the show, and have really gotten to like the guys. I could stare into Chris Nunez' eyes from here to eternity. Chris Garver is astonishingly talented.

The guys on this show seem such genuinely good friends.
I really hope their business will be a success.
There is no grandstanding on this show like there is on Inked, no stupid posturing for the cameras and no chest beating macho acts (like Thomas confronting Quinn's boyfriend Kamil - I can't get over how lame that was).

The Miami Ink guys are great.
    I agree re Garver.
    He's so gifted.

Am I allowed to change my mind??? I am now more fond of the MI boys than the Ink boys....Yeah Nunez is hot...but seriously they are extremely talented. I am enjoying this show much more than Inked, now....I was just kinda into the drama on Inked, what can i say!!
Coco Magdalena made her debut Sept 2, 2006 7lbs 1oz!!!

I would probably like Inked if I hadn't seem Miami Ink first.
I saw a show ages ago with Carey and Thomas where they were setting up the shop, which I assume was some pre-amble to this series.
That show I enjoyed, the series was too high on drama and too low on human interest for me, but I should probably stick with the series to get a better view.
I like the pace of Miami Ink, the fact that they all get along so well and that they all seem to have different talents.
Nunez did a great job with the Marilyn reproduction, Garver seems to be the king of creating original artwork or reinterpretting classic designs and adding his own flair to them, and Darren is great at script.

I loved how Ami saved that tattoo on that guy who misspelled that Italian word, by switching the E and R.
    That was so clever.
The guy looked so horrified when he realized he had spelled the word wrong, but Ami very cleverly rescued it and you would never know there had been an error.

I really need to quit watching this show....it's making me seriously consider a trip down to Miami to get something from Garver. I've never really been a huge fan of the Japanese artwork, but darnit this dude is GREAT! Hmmmm, it is only a bit over a 3 hour drive.

I'm addicted to this show, although thankfully I'm too far from Miami to consider driving for a tattoo.

I don't even really like tattoos, but you simply can't deny they are talented artists.

They deffinately are. That's part of why I like the show, because it showcases their work and by seeing it I think a lot of people find a new respect for tattoo artists.

I watched this show and Inked for the first time last night, they are on at the same time here,I kept flipping back n forth,,Miami ink won out.I liked the
show very much. The people at the Miami shop seem so nice and friendly...Whereas on inked they seem arrongant and have attitudes.
I wish I could go to the Miami shop.....Where I'm at the tattoo artist
whines,,, tells clients no I won't do a small tattoo,,,or he will
tell a client,,this client wanted In Memory of his dad,,,an Angel in the
center, his fathers DOB and DOD ....the tattoo artist said "I'm not
doing that, that's ghetto"..except he used a racial slur...
At another shop in the area the receptionist is so bitchy with
everyone,,,wether they are a walk in or over the phone...She
act like she had tons of things to do,,,when all her job was to answer
the phone...........Anyway I LOVED Miami Ink!!!

I like that they go for the "everyone has a story" idea. The story behind the tattoo, as well as the tattoo and artist.
