Celebrity Guest Judge
Jessica Simpson
A native of Dallas, Jessica first developed her singing skills in the local Baptist church where her father, a psychologist, also served as a youth minister. When Simpson was 12, she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. The following year, while attending church camp, Simpson delivered an acappella version of "Amazing Grace" for one of the camp's guest speakers, who was in the process of launching a gospel music label, and her professional career began. Her album Irresistible went gold in the summer of 2001. In October 2002, Simpson married Nick Lachey of the band 98 Degrees.

If you don't normally watch this, I suggest watching tonight, at least the adult singer segment. Jake has an AMAZING voice.

Ken's cookie!
Well gee don't I feel silly. Even though he got the stars from the judges, Jake didn't sing NEARLY as well as last week (when I thought he was 'AMAZING')
