I agree! Also, I filled my 7 lower windows with 2 inch white faux wood blinds from Home Depot. They look fabulous, and were just over $25 per set. They come in really pretty warm wood tones as well. Much much cheaper than custom blinds and it would have created the atmosphere they were looking for.

I love this show...and love how they have demonstrated "good" flips and "bad" ones. I really enjoy seeing the different values of homes in the US and how upgrading the property varies to add to the value.

Thought the last flip was pitiful since there wasn't much they had to deal with other than cosmetic and yet they couldn't filp their house. Over priced for the bit of decor upgrade they did. Should have done the master bath...

Did this lady do absolutely no organization? Didn't she have a home inspection? I know they like to make it look bad at this point but this is ridiculous. I love how she blamed the workers rather than it being her fault for not giving measurements.

Omigawd, I've never before wished that someone would lose all their money, but this lady is just so stupid. Buying a house in that terrible of shape, located right across from the freeway? Not giving the carpenter measurements for a Refrigerator alcove? A week to choose paint colors? Not checking with the historical society about paint colors in a historical district? Going on VACATION when she has to get her property ready to sell? Now she thinks that she can ask top dollar for her crappy workmanship. I'm sorry, but I hold no pity for her if she looses her life savings (but it's California, so she'll probably break even).

ETA:
Okay, she made money, and she really didn't deserve it.

Oh I can't believe she did it. And she has no idea she lucked out either. I wonder if she ever finished it.

As I've said before, in California all you have to do is repaint and recarpet and you will make a profit. It's so unreal.
