    Kia

So ... what did you guys think of Kia?

I think she's our new Hilde in the making. Hurrah!! Purple vinyl couch with icky fake panelling bottom, butt-ugly wallpaper border trim and purple and green walls. Ewwwwww. But the kicker was when she told Amy Wynn "does it really matter?" when Amy pointed out one of the HOs concerns with the panelling.

    This is gonna be good!

    Yep, she was pretty priceless.
I've never been a fan of wallpaper border so I wasn't really on her side from the moment she showed us that.
The colours she chose were nice enough, not sure if I would use those exact shades together though.
Bearing in mind she had used so much of the lilac colour on the panelling I was a little surprised when she decided to them use the deep purple for the benches.
The benches didn't exactly look comfortable either, plus she had them right back against the wall, hardly makes for an intimate conversation area.

Yay Eden !!! Another TS aholic
You are reading my mind girl. When they auditioned for new designers did they say who likes Hilde?
I hate purple so this is not my room. Couches uncomfortable looking, and even the lady pointed out, her feet didn't touch the floor- I doubt her sister or nieces would either. Border- well I have borders in my house, but then I'm not a designer. Made it look amateur.

Edited for Fluff and I posted at same time

Did you see the "family portrait" that Frank was looking at in the beginning of this episode?? I thought it was a joke! It looked like a painting of Alfred E. Newman from MAD Magazine inbetween some awful characatures of the two HOs when they were little girls. But it wasn't a joke! It was them and their brother. OMG! Total weirdness.

And, yes, I'm a TSaholic. Helllllllp Meeeeeeee.

Oh yes, another winner! She'll get worse as time goes on.

What do you think she'll glue to the walls?

Uhg....... One of the few cases where I think I like the beofre better. It was plain, and a bit boring and dated, but still, I liked it better

Kia's room is such an assault on the eyes, so much going on.
There doesn't seem to be any place you can look to rest your eyes.
It's either mad colour or busy border.
You can't even find sanctuary in the carpet thanks to the throw rugs.

{shudder} I'm kind of glad I missed that one. I always feel so bad for the homeowners when something horrific happens. How did they take it?

Maybe she'll go another route and pick something else that lots of people are allergic to. How about a wall covering weaved with cat hair? Or maybe a ragweed planter box?
