Yes, the Cornelia Marie was represented on After the Catch last week. Jonathan and Jake were both there and they brought in Derrick Ray for a bit, which was extremely unpleasant. My guess is we'll see more of them.

I got a big kick out of finding out that Sig has a role in Cars 2, which I think is opening this week. He plays a fishing vessel.

I'm hoping I can find a video somewhere since I missed it. I bet that it was uncomfortable if Josh/Jake and Derrick were at the same table. I hope they put the rest of the captains between them.

Wow, finally caught the videos on youtube of the first episode. Yall were right, it was very uncomfortable. It seemed like the other captains - except Andy and Jonathon who were absent for this - were weighing in on both sides.

I would love for Edgar to captain the boat for opies or red crab or whatever, just like the Hillstrands. It would be better if Sig were on deck while Edgar is in the wheelhouse because I just can't see him giving total "captainship" to anyone else, even Edgar.

I'm pretty sure I read before the season began that Edgar will captain the boat, or at least captain under Sig's supervision, which I think is more likely. I never thought Edgar was gone for good and I agree that Sig isn't likely to give it all up. Jake A will be deck boss when Edgar captains.

Personally, I can't wait to see Sig's cameo in Cars 2.

I also liked seeing Josh and Jake Harrison last night. I believe that was the last After the Catch of Season 7. They did talk a lot about next season, so I also hope we'll see more of them.

There are two more episodes of Deadliest Catch this season. I'm betting that Jake A gets promoted to deck boss on the Northwestern. Of the new boats, my guess is that they may keep the Seabrooke and drop the Rambling Rose.
