There were a number of elements I really liked in this room.
Thought the wall colour was great and I really liked the headboard, although I think she should have made it bigger.
I'm sure the mat she gave Ty was a lot wider.
I thought Ty did a great job with the large shelving unti he built, but I didn't like how it was just placed on top of their dresser.
The proportions looked wrong to me.
Liked the lamps she used (Ikea as always ) beside the bed, although it does mean she pushed the tables a little too far out of reach from the bed.
I can see the couple changing that for convenience.
Really didn't like the orangey colour she painted some of the furniture.
I wasn't thrilled with the room and honestly it didn't look polynesian to me at all.
I really didn't like the beadspread material. Over all though I liked the room.
I agree the head board should have been bigger. It was kind of lost in the rest of the room.

The best spread looked like something out of That 70's Show, more retro than anything to me.
I did not like the spread with that wall color. One or the other; not both.
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer
I'd ditch the spread and keep the wall colour as I really like it.
