| Re: The Next Food Network Star According to the FN site, the network did not dump Amy. She fulfilled her six episodes and then chose not to continue. |

| Re: The Next Food Network Star Does Guy still say, "That's money!" when he tastes something that he really likes?

But at least he backs it up by giving a description, saying why something is "money" or "off the hook" -- unlike Keith Famie (sp?), the guy from Survivor: Australia who was known for his inability to cook rice. Keith had a travel-and-eat show for awhile in which he'd take a bite of something, nod, and say, "That's really good" (or something along those lines), but never would give any supporting details as to why he liked whatever it was he was chowing down on.

| Re: The Next Food Network Star I only saw one episode really early on a Sunday morning. Maybe she choose not to come back, but I also think they didn't invest much in her either.

| Re: The Next Food Network Star I totally stand corrected ![]() I just think if this was your DREAM, which it seemed everyone on that show, except Nipa, would easily say, then why give up after 6 episodes? I do think it was probably a mutual breakup, but still. I would have pitched the biggest fit if they put me in a bad timeslot, gave me 6 episodes and said Goodbye. Or at least I would've worked my butt off and proved that I deserved to win! I am really happy they are taking all 3 to the finale, it might be better for the audience to get more time with all of them as everyone seems to have their favorites. |

I could not see Adam doing DDD. The more I see of him the more he comes off as a jerk. I'll be very disappointed if he wins. | |

| Re: The Next Food Network Star I am convinced that the sucessful food stars have some sense of "joy" or "happiness" , "fun" OR EXCITEMENT about them for the most part....Lisa and Aaron lack that, Amy lacked that on her few shows. Mrs Neely has a forced "excitement" but at least she is excited Lisa is simply manic sometimes, and Aaron is stiff and dull. Jag last year had that "excitement" factor, and this year Adam has it. Adam is funny and I can forsee various "roles" he could play for the network. Really he would be great replacing the boring chef who hosts "Challenges". Face it, none of the ones left seem to be classically trained "chefs". \ I like Guy a lot, I like the way he does his show, it moves quickly, and he is enthusiastic without being over the top like Mrs Neeley. I guess IF people wanted long recipes by a classically trained french chef they would re run Julia Child LOL....I like recipes but I also like entertainment. So....I am hoping for Adam but knowing reality tv I fear he is set up to be #3...boo hoo |

| Re: The Next Food Network Star I never saw Jag as having an "excitement" factor. He came across on the show like he had an anger management problem. |
