Didn't Giada study in France. The Barefoot Contessa talks about her travels to France. Maybe it's not the French aspect, but that Amy can sound a bit condescending. Sometimes I feel that way about Ina Garten as well.

Are we actually allowed to vote for the winner? I went on the Food Network site and without voting it just said, "Thanks for voting for your favorite." and wouldn't let me vote. Is the voting over or is the winner determine by the FN and they just say it's the public voting?

BTW, that was the first time I had been on the FN site in 6 months so it couldn't of thought I had already voted.

I've looked around a few other forums and it seems to be that the general consensus on all of them is that Amy should be the winner. I mean, there are probably plenty of people who voted for Rory, but I think Amy stands a good chance of winning.

Oh... and I voted for Amy too!

I voted for Amy and I think Amy will win. I looked at some other blogs and they're all shocked that she got sent home. If they're any indication, Amy should win by overwheming majority votes.

The only way Rory would win is that for some reason so many people who watched her on RR voted for her without watching the whole series, which I doubt would happen.

I don't know how helpful that'll be, as last year I voted as much as I could for Reggie. (I miss Reggie!)
