I would have definitely been one of these "NOT" videos.

that was interesting about how Alton Brown got his show ("Good Eats", which I like, by the way).

Hoping that episode 2 (following this one) will have more action. OH they just said that the finalists will take on their first challenge coming up.

OKay, so we have our 8 finalists. 7 picked from tapes, one picked online out of ten.

They now have 20 minutes to prepare everything they need to do a presentation of eggs.

Deborah is presenting an omelet with bacon and scallions...it's falling apart.

Susannah has lost 89 lbs and is pushing healthy healthy healthy. She's making an egg white omelet Italian (or something). Hers does not fall apart.

Michael is making something with chives? He's goofy, like extra goofy. (and has Richard Simmons hair)

Hans is making a soup? He did well.

Brook is making...okay, I'm lost. Well, he is talking really really fast!

Eric is a big ol' guy, and has tons o' personality.

The couple (Dan & Steve) seem to be good.

Harmony made a finished product, instead of having the stuff for her actual presentation.

I'd have to give this to Eric, hands down. Harmony is photogenic and kind of fun (but unprepared and has a bad presentation.) Eric was funny!

Episode 2 coming up, and one person WILL go home. Bobby Flay is going to be on this episode. They're going into the studio for the first time, and will be decorating cakes.
