He needs to enunciate his words and talk slower.

I agree with everything you said.

Re: The Next Food Network Star

Has anyone else noticed that FN has closed down their comments site? What was the point of having a show this season, if they were not going to allow the viewers to vote? I'm extremely disappointed in FN at this point. Anyone else feel the same?

Re: The Next Food Network Star

The comments section, I'm sure, was closed down this morning due to the leak in the information regarding the winner who is to be announced on Sunday's finale.

The reasoning for having a show in which the viewers' vote would not decide the winner? I dunno. Control? Maybe TIIC had a clear idea as to what sort of show/talent they wanted this season? A contest format draws ratings? People could still see the audition process? It was never explicitly mentioned that a viewers' vote would determine this season's winner -- and, of course, it was never explicitly mentioned that it wouldn't. Pretty clever, actually, from a marketing POV.

It is very clever marketing. I guess we all assumed we'd have a vote, as we did have one in the past.
You mention a leak..... does anybody know, then, who has won?

Yes -- I posted and spoiler-tagged in in post #1179 on the previous page in this thread.

Thank you for posting it, Ellen. Now I know I don't have to bother watching since I would never watch that person's tv cooking show anyway. One more reality show I can take off my recorder.
