Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular (02/05, prime time!)

Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular
    60 min.

The contestants “come on down” as they do on the daytime version of the popular game show, but the value of the prizes has gone up in three prime-time editions, which air on consecutive Wednesdays.

Snowy-haired host Bob Barker is still charming, the models are stunning and the time-tested formula is the same. The difference is that for the first time in the show's history, the nighttime contestants get a chance to win $1 million by spinning the wheel and landing on $1 twice. In another change, the number of cars up for grabs each week has been raised to three. Among the other offerings on this first show are exotic vacations, a game room, a hot tub, a motor home and a ski boat.

Another episode airs Friday, 02/07, at 8pm on CBS:

Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular
    60 min.
In the second of three prime-time editions, the popular game show increases its possible winnings, most notably by giving wheel-spinners a chance to win $1 million. Also: three cars are available as prizes. Host: Bob Barker.

I love these prime-time episodes they do. It gives me another chance to watch it, with bigger prizes.

    I'm a huge TPIR fan.

My old neighbor was on the TPIR several years ago (she won a lazy boy chair, microwave and some other stuff) She loved it. Said it was the most fun she had in years. She was in her late 60's at the time and when we watched the show, she was sprinting down the asle, she leaped on to Bob when she won. It was pretty funny. I lived next to her for 9 years and that is the only time I saw her run.

Pretty much, JR. They still do all the same graphics and have most of the same games as when I was growing up watching it. It's part of the charm
