I have the feeling the mom has been in bad shape since way before the kid died. Why would she allow a father who never wanted the children to take custody of them? Do I have it backwards? I know the mom remarried and the step dad didn't want kids but didn't they also say the biological father didn't want them either and that his wife wasn't thrilled with having them live there?

I fell asleep before the intervention last night. Did Lana go to treatment? Did she stay sober?

Yes and yes, buglover. She looked really good, her parents went to visit her at rehab. The ending thingie said she moved into sober living and had been clean since October.

Very cool news! Thanks BT!! I really wanted her to get help, more for her emotional state than just the drugs and alcohol.

I thought there was a new episode last night. The girl's name was Angela and she was addicted to heroin and xanax. Her mom was a drug addict, too. They both went to treatment, completed it, and moved to sober living.

Actually you are right....that also taped and that appears to be new. I have not looked at it yet. Must have been on re-run and one new one. Sylvia was the re-run.

I'm glad that so far Angelina and her mom are both doing well. That part when they were fighting was hectic! And the mom ended up not even having the drugs.
