| This was the first episode I've been able to catch (the cutter/the pill popper)...what an amazing show! I'll totally agree with y'all about needing/wanting to see more (heck even some) of the treatment that these folks go thru. It was the previews with Tamela that really got me into "must see" mode for this cause I've dealt with a cutter that sounded and acted EXACTLY like her before and it's truly some scary stuff. The whole "I need to cut myself cause I can't feel anything and need to know if it's real" (not a direct quote, but the jist of it) was told to me more times than I can count. I agree with QB on her, it seems like she really might have a chance....she's definitely surrounded by a good group of friends and boyfriend, the parents I'm a bit worried about, but she's got a good support group outside of them. It seems like what she needed most of all was that interventin session to know that she truly is loved, just knowing that security of love is out there will help her get through a lot in the road ahead. | |

| I was immediately hooked into this show when their first promos started airing that were sound only, no picture. The gambler guy was saying, "how can I be expected to leave, when I don't have all my things..." (not a direct quote) in that panicked whiny voice. The dramatics, and knowing it's not a script, caught my attention. However, I'm currently recapping The Entertainer, and it runs at the same time. And it seems my cable company has made it that in order to tape a show on a different channel, I'll need two cable boxes (or it's possible I'm doing something wrong, which is entirely possible ). Anyway, The Ent will be ending in two weeks, and I am definitely going to watch. I'm fascinated by this kind of behavior...saddened, but still fascinated. ![]() | |

| Intense, quality show. I'm ready for much more. There are still plenty of addictions they havent covered. Tonight one guy is battling two addictions, crystal meth and sex, and that will make for one chaotic mess!! I've been pretty much rooting for every individual to get the help they need, except the gambling guy a few weeks back who thought everyone owed him everything. I wished ill will on that soul....... |

| Talk about enablers. The show last night featuring Alissa (the gambler) disgusted me. Those around her basically support her addiction and don't have the nerve to set boundaries. Her family and boyfriend provide her a nice vehicle, car insurance, a cell phone, food and money. And she has the nerve to tell them what she ABSOLUTELY won't do. She takes their kindness for weakness. I wonder how long she'd continue to gamble if they cut all financial ties. How fun would gambling really be if she had to walk to the casino after selling her ass to get gambling money? |

Missed last night's show and was totally bummed this morning when I realized it. I set it as a season pass this morning, though, so I won't miss it anymore. Did they both end up going to treatment? I have wondered if they'd ever show a person who refused to go.

| I love the show and am hooked. I have missed a few episodes, though. I hope they show them again. I really don't understand the cutting thing at all. Tamela was both beautiful and talented. I just don't understand her hating herself that much and how the cutting ties into all that. |
