    [QUOTE=SQUATMAN]List the 10 then.

I think Jim Carrey would be great (sp) but, who cares. It's just a show.

I forgot how much I loved Chris Rock paid respects to our troops!!!!

fine line with Bush but, just good enough to not step on toes or to piss anyone off too much?? (very well done IMO)

    I like Ellen
    Whoopi is okay.

How about Mike Myers? That'd be good. I guess he's very shy though.....then again, so was Johnny Carson and he was the master.

Please tell me Beyonce wasn't nominated for an OSCAR. She is talented, but she has no artistic integrity. She signs on for every commercial (McDonald's and Pepsi UK), tv show and film that comes her way. Not to mention she sold out her "independent woman" status in favor of half-naked dancing and songs about thugs- supposedly all in the name of maturity

Anyway, back to the Oscar's the new format was interesting I haven't decided yet if I like it or not. The ratings were good.

" The Oscars' 30.1 rating in Nielsen Media Research's 56 top markets was a slight 1 percent improvement over last year's comparable number, and the highest-rated Academy Awards in the metered markets since 2000. The rating is an estimate that nearly 33 million households were tuned in.

Nationwide viewership totals were to become available later Monday."

I was actually happy to find out that no, she wasn't nominated. phew!

I hated the all-onstage-when-the-winner-is-called format. Their is no way they could save time anyway they look at it. They cant take out the techie awards because then you just have the actors' and movie awards.

I love to look at the loser's faces when they announce the winner, and they didn't show that! Still think Billy Crystal's opening montage is the funniest Oscar moments ever. Sean Penn might be a good actor but he's a humourless idiot. Beyonce looked like she was wearing the Chandelier that falls fall the ceiling in Phantom of The Opera during her performance of that song, and what was with that chartreuse eyeshadow during her first performance? Get a new stylist, B.

best one in my opinion in awhile. Then again, a lot of my favorites won. I HATED the deameaning format and thought it was really ? No tact. I hope they don't do that again. I didn't see her second performance. I heard it wasn't so good. Better than some lip sync though. Her first and third (IMO_ were awesome. I loved her makeup!!
Agreed. Billy Crystal has great openings.
Sean Penn = no sense of humor and Jude Law (I hope) just laughed at was just a joke. TOO serious Sean. Bring back SPICOLLI!!

Isn't Million Dollar Baby just Rocky in a sports bra?
It's obvious from this statement you haven't seen the movie...go see it now before you find out the "twist" because it will have more of an emotional impact on you.

I'm watching the E! fashion review. Jay Manuel from ANTM did Star Jones' makeup.

I adore Hilary Swank, she sems like a lovey, down-to-earth person.

Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Orlando Bloom and Don Cheadle are very handsome! - How could I forget to mention that yesterday?!

The Oscars this year were the best in a while for me. Everything was just there. It wasn't too long, wasn't too boring, it was just good

And I found Chris Rock to be very good!
