    Monster House: Dog House

    http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/monsterhouse/houses/dog/dog.html
    Dog House
After 30 episodes, Monster House has seen its share of builders who haven't shown their best sides for the cameras. So we thought it only fair to invite a few of them back for a chance to redeem themselves. Five had the courage to say yes. To keep things from overheating on Day One, we invited an anger management specialist to participate as well.

We gave this motley crew just one project build a dog house. But not just any dog house. ...This one has two stories, three separate bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a front porch and a bone-shaped pool with a deck and a fire-hydrant fountain. More of a dog mansion if you ask us.

Our family consists of three adorable hounds Wiley, Gingging and Monkey that were adopted from local pounds by homeowners Betsy Martin and Kevin Kipnis. The couple wants to get these three big dogs out of the house and into a home of their own. In the end, it's all about a dog house.

Did Steve and his team deliver? Find out when Dog House premieres in two parts, tonight and Aug. 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Did anyone watch Part 1 of this tonight? It was freakin' hilarious. They had some of the most obnoxious people back on.

Hope it's okay that I posted this in this fashion.

Man, this is a train wreck waiting for Gomez to hit the plunger when it reaches the bridge!!! Dr. Wood is as big a self-centered jerk now as he was before. After seeing him in action, I wouldn't have him build me anything, He is too much on overkill, and that jacks the price way up. Double sheathing the first floor? What the hell is up there? Steve is going to be on sedatives by the end of the week and it looks like a shoving match next week too.

I wonder how someone like Dr. Wood can stand to be in his own skin. You just know he gets conflict where ever he goes. I don't think I could be around the guy for 5 minutes let alone work with him. He doesn't quit does he?

As much of an a$$ he is, he does work extremely hard though. Hire him to work alone for a set price and you may get high quality work. I wish they would show more of the rest of the crew though.

I absolutely can't stand Dr. Wood. "I completely trust you, as long as you do exactly what I say when I say it, exactly how I would have done it myself, and I'm watching you carefully the whole time you're doing it."

I hope Steve smacks him upside the head.

I watched episode 1 & 2.. I couldn't believe the show actually had the "balls" to get all of these guys back, on the SAME project!!

It was great though.. with all the fighting, self-absorbed squabbling.. I was glued to the set!

Not so sure when the second episode is airing again, so I won't say anything about it..cause I don't wanna spoil it for anyone.
I'll just say that it's worth watching!

As much as I've been sorta "bummed" about the episodes of Monster House, or rather the projects... I DO still watch every episode.

I watched both episodes... gee, I actually had to tape the second part as part 1 sucked me in.

Dr. Wood is an ass. I don't care how freakin' good you are at something, you really don't have to be an ass.

I wasn't really that impressed with the finished product The poker picture was cute, but the rest of the interior design was pretty lame. Am I really saying that about a freakin' dog house?

Ummm... still, the fact that it was 10 times the size of my dogs doghouse..... maybe I'm jealous

I wanted to complain about the finished project too cali, I agree (re; inside of house)! The "pool" sorta bugged me... you'd think with the SIZE of each dog, that they'd of made it a tad bigger.
Listen to me complain about the size of a DOG'S pool. :rolleyes

Hey! It IS Monster House afterall.. monster size it!!!
