Nah, the ribbon was shizot. And that chaise really wasn't all that special.

Everyone was raving over that chaise, I didn't think that much of it. The headboard was too much, but not the most horrible of Lauries rooms

glad to know I'm not the only one who though "Hmmm, yeah it's a chair...." Gee they were acting as though Amy created light or something.

I wasn't a fan of the ribon either. Not my thing.

Yes she got rid of a ceiling fan and I really didn't like the light she replaced it with, but the HO seemed to really like it.

I liked the chaise, but agree that it wasn't really anything special.
Laurie ruined it for me with the fabric she chose to cover it with anyway. It was set at a nice angle though, so I imagine it was comfortable.

Yep, the fan had to go of course.
I didn't like the new fixture much either.

I liked the chaise longue, but I didn't think it was the greatest thing since sliced bread...

Liked the colors in the room, and I agree w/ you, Fluff. The pictures make it look much more muted than it actually was. Good point about the magazine racks, too.

I thought the headboard was a bit too big, but it wasn't totally objectionable.

@ Ducky re: Laurie and yellow. When Joey and I watched the episode, he looked at me and said, "Well, if Laurie ever did a room for us, we already know one of the colors she'll use."

I really hated the purple she used on the ceiling.
I know its all about the colour wheel with yellow and purple being opposites, but I didn't like the shades she chose.

I liked the chaise lounge, I just didn't know why they went on and on about it, she is a carpenter after all

I agree though on the fabric. I wasn't at all thrilled with that.

Fabric wasn't that good either, on the chaise.
