Gee, I guess the family has to pay full taxes on the house now.

I forgot the show was on and missed the first half (I am in a benadryl fog). I read this thread just as the family came home and it made me cry. I really do love this show.

Maybe you can answer a burning question I have.

Who pays the taxes on all that stuff? Because I was watching tonights episode and I was moved (as usual, I love this show!) but the thought kept going over and over in my head. How are these kids going to pay the taxes on all this stuff?

Maybe you know some inside stuff? Does the show pay for it?

    Hi,

    Another great show!

The concert is sort of hooky, but it works as a fundraiser.

It's very touching to see that Sears has agreed to pay for the mortgage.

Oh, here is one thing I notice that I would appreciate if someone can verify.

On the show, they showed the house number on the front with 3 digits. But, on one of the photos, the house number is actually 4 digits!

If my observation is right, then the show is very sensitive to the privacy of the show occupants!

Tonight was the first time I've watched the show. Thanks to little rumpshaker (cute screen name!) I got to see it. Such a sad story for those kids, I don't think there's a more deserving family anywhere.

I love this show! I watch every week and I always get all choked up! Last night though, right after the limo pulled up in front of the house, the tornado siren went off here and I didn't get to see the reveal. Darn you Mother Nature!!

Last week's episode (the end) & this week's episode (beginning & end) just had me crying my eyes out!

I love how they all jumped in the pool in their clothes after the reveal. That was hilarious!
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.
