    My problem with the bed in the center of the room is not having side tables to set a lamp and alarm clock on (not to mention my water bottle!). Even if you did have tables, you'd have to run the lamp cords under the carpet for safety. An overhead light, in my opinion, is not enough for when you want to read in bed.

    Kudos to Edward on the overall room, though. He really "gets" it. I agree he needs to lose the pommade. He looks like a vampire to me. (and ... if you close your eyes while he talks, you would swear it was Frank talking).

    I like the look of the headboard/wall. I think you could put an alarmclock and a glass of water up there. The lights he built in to it look really nice, though I would like to see the headboeard/wall a little wider and the lights placed farther out. I am a leaner and would not want to be knocking the lampshades off all the time.

    He needed to provide some kind of night stand for them I think.
    It's not practical not to have a place for a clock etc.
