    How will COOLIO Do?

    From rollingstone.com

Born Artis Ivey, Jr. in Los Angeles in August 1963, rapper Coolio first began performing while in high school during the late '70s. Though he came from an underprivileged background, Coolio never joined a gang or got involved in serious crime, concentrating instead on his musical and lyrical skills. Working with DJ Bryan "Wino" Dobbs, Coolio recorded his debut album, It Takes a Thief, in 1994; the record became an instant hit, going platinum on the strength of the No. 3 single "Fantastic Voyage." His 1995 follow-up, Gangsta's Paradise, whose title track was the biggest rap single of the year, solidified Coolio's status as one of the biggest rap stars of the '90s. His latest album, My Soul, was released in August 1997.
Misc. info: He was a firefighter for 1 1/2 years in CA for the Dept of forestry. He is married and has 6 kids. Coolio enjoys snow boarding and golfing in his spare time. He is also dedicated to giving to charity and supporting our troops.

BTW Coolio was the winner on Celebrity Fear Factor. He had some skills and wasn't afraid of the challenges. He could take it again.

Coolio has been my pick since I heard the list of celebrities picked for Boot Camp. He's tough, athletic, and is not afraid of a challenge. I saw him on Fear Factor and the competition was his for the taking!

Woo-hoo! I got one right finally! Go Coolio!
Although, I thought he would drop out cuz it looked like he was ready to snap back at the drill instructors. He sucked it up, though, and his attitude adjustment helped him win. Did you see how mean his face would look sometimes? I'd be scared of him.

I'm sure Barry Williams was scared of him!
Yes, Coolio can look like one bad @$$ ________.
I, too, was expecting him to lay into one of the DI's at any time.
