I have always liked Coolio and in any interviews I've seen, or Hollywood Squares or stuff like that, he always comes across as a good guy.

I was impressed with what he said at the end to the DIs

I thought it was a bit OTT to say he respected them more than his parents, but then again I've never met his parents, they could be horrible

He did well to come back from being so close to calling it a day to win the whole thing.

I didn't like the Parent comment. I'm not sure he said he respected the DI's more though. Just that no one has ever motivated him like the DI's. It was the one DI who used the word respect when talking about the comment later.
I guess it upset me because I would hope that his parents motivated him in a completely different way. When it comes to motivating kids, more often than not, you are not trying to get them to finish climbing a frickin wall!
If I motivated my kids to eat their veggies that way, they'd hate me
Just a different thing and I don't think the comparison to parents should have ever come up.
I'm not dissing DI's here.... well, not much

**For the record, I SO woulda been kicked out before the games started, as I wouldn't have let them scream in my face. Of course, because of that, I wouldn't have been there in the first place

Cali, do you remember recruit Katherine from the first episode of the original boot camp? She bailed on the first day and was discharged, so the first guy voted out (Parks) didn't get the chance to take anyone with him

Coolio kicks ass! Yes, we do have a mini-Coolio fan club in the making here.

I missed the first few eps of the original Boot Camp.
