Lately I've been finding myself really enjoying some of the shows on the Food Network. Let me say first off that I'm an average cook, and don't enjoy making complicated dishes -- I prefer down-home home cooking. But some of the shows on the Food Network are very interesting and educational in an entertaining way. I'm actually finding myself watching some of the cooking shows, like Paula's Home Cooking, and wanting to try some of the things I see. In fact, today I made 3 of Paula's dishes recently featured on her show.
But I was wondering if there are others here who enjoy watching the Food Network?
My favorite shows from the Food Network are:
Unwrapped (where it shows how well known foods and treats are made, including going into the plants or locations where things are made and showing us the behind-the-scenes processes. I love seeing how things are made)
The Secret Life Of (where it goes more into depth about featured foods, such as pizza, peanuts, donuts, barbecue, etc, and gives lots of info about it, including the history of the item -- very fascinating stuff told in a humorous way)
Paula's Home Cooking -- my favorite of their cooking shows

I have a tiny crush on Tyler (Food 911).
I love the way Paula Deen just digs right in to the food with huge bites. She would be fun to go out to the bar and have a few drinks with.

I'm so lame, I cant' really cook (but hey I'm still young I have time to learn) I watch the Food Network constantly. My favourite shows are "Food 911" (been watching Tyler for awhile now), "Unwrapped" (it's so informative haha), "Top 5", and I watch Rachel Ray's shows..obviously my favourite chefs are Tyler Florence, Rachel Ray, and Jamie Oliver
