Casting Call - Couples Wanted for New Reality Series
Producers of HBO's "Taxicab Confessions" Want Couples for Reality TV Series
November 20, 2002 Joe and Harry Gantz, are the Emmy Award-winning directors/producers behind the HBO reality series, "Taxicab Confessions.” Over the past 18 years, their work has explored the most intimate aspects of people’s lives and relationships. From "Couples Arguing" to "Sex With Strangers", their work is known for its raw exploration of sexuality and its authentic portrayal of the emotions that drive our lives.
As the world of reality television keeps getting more and more extreme, the Gantz brothers prefer to capture and document the compelling issues in real life. Okay, so drinking a gallon of pig’s blood while bungy jumping off the great pyramids may be "Reality TV" to some people…but for most of us, our lives revolve around our relationships – with friends, with family, with lovers. This new series focuses on:
Couples, who despite having issues in their relationship, stay together because their sex life is so good.
However, is great sex enough to sustain a relationship? Are we often attracted to people we’re not compatible with? What issues become more important in our lives than good sex?
Currently, the Gantz brothers are seeking couples in the southern California area. They are looking for the "stars" of this exciting new television show: real couples with real issues who have such great sex, that despite the forces driving them apart, the sex keeps them together.
Both partners must be open to a camera crew following their real life and relationship.
