She has since gone on to present numerous BBC shows, including the National Lottery, Holiday and Travel Show. She has presented Changing Rooms since it was launched in the UK in 1996. "I've taken lots of tips home," she says. "I love making terrible things look nice. I've actually upholstered my own three-piece suite! I can't believe I did that. I am genuinely interested in interiors and I have a reasonably good eye."
